They say clothes make the man, and in the case of the Indiana Jones in German Disguise 12-inch Figure, they certainly help make this incognito Indy pretty snazzy. This uber-detailed German costume was no easy task, but Sideshow's resident cut-and-sew crewman Tim Hanson happily took on the challenges! To find out what Tim had to say follow the link below! Although our newest Indy 1/6 scale figure is now Sold Out, be sure to jump on his Wait List! Wait Lists are a great way to snag collectibles that may become available due to credit card declines or order cancellations!

I'm sorry but you've got to be kidding me. Uber-detailed? Come on. They're really trying to sell this one. And if in fact German Indy isn't coming with a hatless head just makes this all the more disappointing.

I love ya SS but really, you guys are capable of much more.

I guess they figure you could just use the hatless head from the first Indy. Still for the pricetag there should an extra head plus a few other things. And this uber-detailed costume is by far one of the more simple Nazi uniforms. It's a shame really because this figure, even in all his kitbashable glory, could've been much better or much cheaper.

Okay, so by that rational, and the fact that they're always poking in and out of these forums, they'd know that most of us have done custom versions with the spare head. With that said, why not just toss in an extra unhatted headsculpt? :huh The mold's already done, everyone's used to painting it and it's not like they haven't reused other aspects of the Pro (hands across the board, Belloq's shoes for the Harbinger, etc.). Would've been a cheap piece to reproduce and definitely would've softened the price tag.

If they don't include a hatless head they should rename this figure "Indiana Jones in German Disguise For Two Seconds with the Hat on when he Bumps into Belloq." :monkey1

I just got a spare hat less head off E-bay.
Looks like I will have to save it to replace this head:tap

See, I don't get why they wouldn't just toss in the extra hatless head. I really doubt anyone would complain, it's a fine sculpt. There's going to be a lot of extra room in this figure's box. I can't help but think he's going to look really barebones...

I really don't get why there's all this talk about this figure NOT coming with a hatless head...I personally think that the hat is removable simply by the description of the figure on Sideshow's site:

The Indiana Jones in German Disguise 12 inch Figure features:

12-inch Prometheus male body with 30+ points of articulation
Authentic likeness of Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones
Shirt
Pants
Boots
Cap
Detailed belt with Y-strap harness
KAR 98 pouches
RPG
Two sets of interchangeable hands
Display base with Indiana Jones logo

Just my thoughts on the subject

Darth Vader and the clones both list their helmets as accessories. Neither are removable. But that said, we've already seen the unpainted headsculpt and the hat's attached. I think it even says so in the production gallery.

Does Sideshow look in here at all? There are so many valid and important points made in these threads. They should take notice. Genuine question, not rhetorical.....

Needs removable cap, or separate headsculpt, otherwise this outfit is almost irrelevant

I've posted a comment on the production blog page-- If every Freak that wants this representation of Indy BUT screen accurate posted as well (in a civilized and mature fashion) maybe we'll get a response or wonderfully a change.

Please post Freaks.

Well, I tried a second comment-- more positive and I left out the bit about the same price tag as the Indy with tons of accessories... We'll see if that gets posted.

Keep the posts going guys-- Let your voice be heard!

i've just had a look at the bare unpainted sculpt over sideshows site, that is another fantastic Ford sculpt but Sideshow need to sack their paint guys - the paint apps ruin it totally, whats the point of having a faithful sculpt when the paint job just screws it, they may as well have painted him purple & brown - utterly useless !
