:lol Beat me by seconds.

That's what she said.

Same here. Aside from this having a slightly new Trevor sculpt, I'm more than fine with my custom (with more accurate costume).

I have a couple of extra Indys for customs I was going to do but never got around to...I might wait until places start splitting this up and go that route...unless something spectacular comes with this.

The prop looks different compared to the on-set pic. The on-set pic has a scope on the top and an additional bracket that goes behind Indy's shoulder. The toy actually looks closer in design to the on-set pic. The toy looks wrong in terms of scale (looks smaller), but it could just be the angle and/or foreshortening.

Yep. Also, Shai is dead-on when he says to look at this figure and then look at what Hot Toys is offering with their upcoming Christian Bale John Connor. Sideshow isn't even the same ballpark right now with 1:6. Thankfully, their armored SW characters & G.I. Joe are showing a lot of promise, though.

They're different figures though. The John Connor figure comes with so much stuff. This is a pretty basic figure really and won't come with much outfit wise though Indy's looks good. I'm not sure whats inaccurate about it either.

I'm so on board with this Indy figure, the German disguise was a big part of the movie's ending, and it goes with the machine gun they gave Bellog. I also think the "Shut your eye's, Marion!" squinty extra head sculpt is a must, that would tie into the melting head Toht. Awesome call Sideshow.

He looks more like Niko Bellic from GTA4

I guess this is selfish, but I can't afford for Sideshow to become Hot Toys. I don't like paying $140 for figures no matter how amazing they are, I can hardly afford (justify) the $80.

I'd actually accept a notch backwards in quality and an increase in edition sizes if it meant $60 figures again.

Yup, it looks like they're trying to complete that scene in the canyon with the figures they've been releasing. Belloq is definitely the canyon version since he has the machine gun, and Toht goes nicely there as well. We'll need Dietrich next.

And the hat has to be removable since he doesn't wear it from the bazooka shot til the end. Although after Belloq's weirdly sculpted hat interior (so the hat can only be placed on his head in one position), I think I might prefer a different head sans hat!

I know where your coming from. I felt that way when SS's figures were around the $55 range but now that they're creeping up to HT's prices and not HT quality I'm looking at it differently.

Wait a minute...I thought the Indy line was dead???

Not sure I am in or this one either. I would have preffered a ToD or map room Indy, but I will have to see the whole thing and what the exclusive is before making a final decision.

And why are we only getting ROTLA figures? Where is the love for the other three films?

I wouldn't say it's the Faramir, this more like the second version of Lorne they made for the Buffy/Angel line.

The difference between this and Faramir is they won't be overproducing this. They are definately past the stage of making too many units of these type releases. I won't be surprised if this release totals 3,000.

I was specific that the prop pic posted was minus some details but showed the overall scale well. That prop went through many hands over the years and obviously lost some of the parts, which is common. Sideshow did make the grenade a bit too small which is why I posted the pic so everyone can see that.

Yup, 3000 is prolly going to be the magic number for several of their lines. Part of the reason for the higher price.

Indiano Jones fans.... meet the Faramir of your line.

Not sure what you mean. Faramir had nothing to do with the LOTR line ending as far as the character choice goes. Some paint issues with him may not have helped but it wasn't the selection.
