I am in a weird spot, I cant access SS site at work and that's when POs go up. Yesterday I left early and as soon as I got home I was able to get an ex. If I didn't leave early I wouldn't have. It looks like I will have to use my phone in the future for day 1 POs.

The EX Monger head would have to be a battery I'm guessing (?) I wouldn't have pulled the trigger if this was batteries only.
Maybe someone will produce a 1/4 damaged Iron Monger helm (or even just a smashed up face plate) to put on the base.
I'm sure someone will do that, but it'll cost way more than $15

**** man i missed the one statue i wanted to buy, i don't have really anything on PO right now but missing this one pisses me off to no end. Oh well maybe my waitlist will convert otherwise im going to have to settle on one of the 50000 regular versions they make.

I don't think it does light up. The arc reactor of Iron Monger's chest flickers though.
how so? assume the shipping for both versions would be about the same?

I wouldn't have to order from Sideshow if I'm not getting the EX, so I can get it elsewhere, $4 flat rate shipping.
And international buyers can order from their local shops too and save on the tax and fees.

That's what gets me though, why put that feature in and then place it on the back on the statue?

Something else that bugs me about the EX is that that Iron Monger part isn't even accurate. In the movie it was a helmet, Stane's head would fit right in it. In this is more like a robot's head. The original Iron Monger suit didn't even HAVE a neck.

I buy locally from Popcultcha Australia. And it's always cheaper, and in fact the savings increase dependent on the cost/size of the piece due to free delivery via Popcultcha, whereas the cost from Sideshow just keeps on increasing. And in Australia new import laws having started since 1st of July which may further increase the cost.
Plus added bonus I usually get 10% reduction on everything when I purchase.
Only downside is not being able to get exclusives, but I don't mind at all in this case.
