My only concern with that pose (iconic, I know) is that it's been done before (in 1/6 scale and so-so quality) by Kotobukiya...

All the PF's I'm on track to get have one foot up. (Hulk, Cap, Thor) But, none have this head on chest out look. So this would be my first like this. I think it's awesome because it's the same pose as the original cap pf.

So either way I decide to go, it will look awesome. If I get mk 3, he will be front and center with cap, leading the team. If I get the mk 7, and the flying feature is awesome, I will display him on a little platform or something so he is behind cap, flying.

SS didn't choose this pose, the studio pushed for it. I like it anyway but then I don't generally collect iron man... until now so I don't have anything like it yet.

The pose is fantastic.

Although, since the suit is not BD, it does not particularly correlate with the base; still looks fantastic.

Just hoping SS gets the colours right.

The poses on the rest of the maquettes seem to be very popular also, they are down to Mr Igo at SS. When it comes to poses it will always come down to personal preference, there is no pleasing everybody in that regard. Some will love them, others will complain.
