i guess it makes sense, biz wise. The number of impulse buys for the 1:1 busts after watching the movie when it comes out makes this a good biz move.

I think the money they make for one 1:2 statue = profits of 8-10 1:4 statues? They may sell fewer but total profits might be the same. If that were the case, fewer stautes= easier time doing QC=greater % of happy customers=repeat biz

Just a guess.

Fewer statues produced definitely does not equal better quality. Just look at the 1:1 Mark III bust.

They got so many returns that they had to modify it to sell as a battle-damaged Mark III and Mark II :lol

Iron Man is becoming a little tiring to tell the truth: FOUR comiquettes, two LSB, 2 1:1 busts, a Diorama, Hot Toys figures, the 1:2 maquette,....and now this? I prefer the new wave of characters Sideshow is about to begin (Gambit, Sabretooth, Thanos, Silver Surfer, Cyclops....)

Hate to say it, but................. :lecture

Totally agree :D

It'll probably lose some momentum. Me thinks SS is milking that udder for all its worth. Ditto on being bored, though!:huh
