Damn it my Iron man is in the country but it's a bank holiday weekend now so I wont be getting mine till Tuesday at the earliest, talk about having to suffer, I mean as if it is'nt bad enough that I am that mine is in perfect condition I now have to wait at least another four days to find out...

No but they use plastic!
Easy to get it right, there is no paint application. It's all one section.

I have Work with Plastic, this is not all one section, this are different pieces from different molds attached together.... Plus it does have some extra paint application .... It is a diferent Process than the Polystone .... Sure..... But Less Complex ummmmm I don't really think so......The End Results come from the Quality of Assemble & The Artist and The QC Should Be More Rigid IMO......

Josh, what do you think about mine? especially the mouth area?

After looking at your pictures it brings me back to a problem that I had noticed in the pictures that were taken at SDCC.

I was paranoid before about the final statues having crooked mouths but it could've just been the prototype. It looks like it made it into the final pieces as well. I would ask for a replacement on that one. Hope you get a good one dude. It would be cool if Sideshow had retail stores or something so we can always just go there and check out the pieces before we actually pay for them.

That would suck. Which is why I went ahead and moved mine up. I knew waiting for it would be more of a wait than I wanted to .

Thank you! Yeah, I just decided I'd mess around take some outside with the last few things. Something different than I usually do. oh yeah sometimes it does that to me on my laptop. not sure why honestly.

Nah, I think you're ok. It looks fine to me. I didn't think there was an issue when you showed it. I don't see it far off of mine for what thats worth.

The thing is are you happy with it?

Now that I can see your pics on something other than an iphone, yours does look very good. I'd be happy with that one. I'm definitiely pursuing a replacement, in the works. I just can't live with a sub standard paint application, which mine does seem to have after seeing your, Averone's, and Iron Lung's awesome pics.

Thats the thing. If you aren't happy with it you gotta get a replacement. Its something you want in your collection and for the price you have to get something that fits the price tag. I don't blame you at all.

Well...got my IM maquette and , no, it was not perfect at all...it had flaws all over but specially on top of the head, where it had two paint cracks, pretty visible and painting missing inside the mouth which was pretty noticeable considering the angle I would display it.

It is going back soon and hopefully I will get a better one. Other than that, it is an amazing piece. Pretty light considering it is Iron Man..... . I think SIM is actually heavier....The base is also pretty light and the detail is great

I think the black paint is supposed to be "oil" but the other paint issues are bad...

I am a reasonable guy. But man I am FN pissed now!!! The paint issues are unacceptable. It's like some kid painted this. I don't want an exchange. I want a full refund! This is BS. War Machine is soooo getting canceled too.
I am gonna get a full hot toys iron man line. So much better.
