Yea, but factories will overdo it, and it will looks cheap. Rather a clean version, and you can get a local artist to do the BD fairly cheap.

Made up my mind and will be ordering this tonight from Sideshow. Only works out at just over $45 saving if ordered locally so for the sake of getting it straight away rather than waiting a few months down the line, plus a few extra reward points will come in handy in my quest to get enough points to afford a free LSF

No it wouldn't, factory production battle damage usually consists of silver and black lines and smudges, it just doesn't look good at all. Plus didn't this suit only have two extremes? Perfect condition and then smashed into a hundred pieces every time a bumble bee lands on it?

While I like this alot, the bottom of the base looks like an ash tray.

You guys are too hard on that base. It's so easy to ignore, and I don't think it impacts the overall statue at all.

When this is priced up it will be more than $45 cheaper locally. Probably double that.

was just going by what Lee had priced for IP. He's got IP up for GBP320...and IP direct works out at GBP300 with tax (minus the shipping) hence I worked out that IP will be roughly GBP20-30 cheaper locally. My rule is any savings worth over GBP50 and i'll order it local, less than that and i'll forfeit the difference

yea, I usually just estimate it to be in the region of $40-75 to ship a 1/4 statue. For example, my Batman PF cost me $75 and the Superman PF, which shipped on Tuesday, was only $40 ...even my Wolverine LSF cost me $75 to ship to the UK direct hence why it actually worked out cheaper to get it from Sideshow than it was locally...its all swings and roundabouts but its really worth doing the sums before committing to buying locally just in case

Machiko is $440 and priced at £300 also.
Depends what deals his supplier offers him. Best to wait 'till Friday, 13th, before making any decision.

I certainly had to double take when I received the $75 shipping quote from sideshow for my Wolvie LSF still unsure how they calculate their shipping costs? If its done by the size of the box as opposed to the weight The Batman PF box was pretty huge but not majorly heavy whereas the Wolvie box was small and compact (for an LSF) but had a bit of weight to it...then again, you mention fair shipping prices, Sideshow have just quoted me $108 for the upcoming Iron Man MKVII 1:1 Bust

I think price is more influenced by dimensions over weight.
