and as expected...the same base kinda' rules this out for me! So sloppy and lazy from Sideshow Besides, we have a multitude of more epic MK43 Iron Man statues/figures to choose from (Iron Studios, Hot Toys and ECC). I really think Sideshow have lost the plot

For about $2200 less, you can get the exact same armor and pose with the Kotobukiya Age of Ultron Iron Man. Sure, it is 12 inches instead of 36 inches but for the price difference, I know which option I prefer. Oh, and the base is cooler and the paint apps are excellent.

I was already burned by the MKVII Legendary Scale, fool me once. Regardless, I hope this one does turn out closer to the proto, especially when they're demanding even more money than the MKVII LSF. The stakes are higher.

Pretty sure SS has changed factories for their statues now so I think this will look like proto.

Sure, but I'm not speaking about justification. I'm talking about pricing trends. This was going to happen. They weren't going to stay priced at $2k forever.

I will have to get it as I have the other 2 More money for less product as there is no lights in the feet only the hands, chest and eyes. I will see how much my LCS puts it up for. The other options are IA but that will probably be just as much or more after shipping and fees and CM which is smaller but costs 2700 euros which is probably more than SS's statue.
