didn't buy it now, and i def won't buy then. cause i'm sure the shaking during shipping will leave the chrome paint in the bottom of the box..

I doubt Sideshow would make that mistake twice. Plus quality control shouldn't be an issue since there aren't 1500 of these. It's also not chrome.

It will only be a matter of time before someone posts pictures of their Mark II sporting the same issues as the mark III.......its inevitable.

This thread and it's sister thread are hilarious.

I'm still pissed after all the paint chipped off my 1:1 Angel of Death.

Ended my lifesize bust collecting real quickly. I'm happy with my PFs and sixth scale for now.

Are you still after the IM 1:2?

Well lets just say im not in a rush to get one. I will wait to see what the first reviews look like for this piece and then wait for a few months after that to hear if theirs any issues with paint cracking or chipping. I will say this though...the minute I see or hear any of the recurring issues on the 1:2 it will be a write off for me. My gut feeling is it will head in that direction...

Looks like this is processing today and will ship either today or tomorrow. Hopefully there are no paint chips or issues. I'm afraid, someone hold me.

I called to cancel the Shades of Mordor diorama so I asked about this and I was told it was pre-processed and in shipping. But maybe that's old info in my account because it was pre-processed for the first time weeks ago. I probably should have asked more questions. :huh :lol

My waitlist just converted for this thing today. I called SS today with my concerns about ordering this again after the fun I had with the 1st one. I told her I had the mark III sent back due to many paint issues. After I got a refund I lost $120 because of the exchange rate with still nothing to show for it. I asked her if these busts were repainted from the original mark III's...her response was "I dont know"...
Then I asked her if the issue with the busts being labled mark III has been corrected? She says their have never been any busts labled wrong. I told her theirs pictures all over the forums proving the bust says Mark III. Her response......"you cant believe everything you see on the forums"

I still dont know if I should keep this and go through the same headache again....

Sounds like there was actually only 1 bust that was released with the Mark III label, which was a specially produced bust for someone in Japan and was shipped directly to him from the factory, not from Sideshow in California.

Who did you hear that from?
