Iron Man Mark VI Maquette

I am surprised SSC let Koto get ahead of them on this though. The Koto Mark VII is only 1/6 and is PVC, but haing seen it I can say it looks awesome.

uhhh...1/6th pretty much means none of us PF collectors care about it. which is why its not a threat to SSC in the least. sales for that will have ZERO effect on sales for a 1/4 mark VII maquette. in any case, if they are doing the 1/2 scale first, it could be a long time before they do the 1/4 maquette. the mark VI would be more to my liking anyway. as someone mentioned before, the ammo packs just don't look very good to me. mark VI maquette is perfect and war machine next to him just makes this a must buy!

which one is the Mark VI? Man, so many marks its getting confusing?! I think Mark Vi had the triangular arc reactor? Thats my favourite, not a massive fan of the circular one

I think he was just implying that SS should have made a 1/4th to look like it. Not that it was a threat. It's a cool look that would have looked even better in 1/4th.

Yeah, think I am just going to wait it out. I'll see if SS does anything Avengers related 1/4th down the road. But your right a beautiful piece.

I'm hoping Sideshow do something else as well, I dont have either but I do love the setup of both the Mark VI and War Machine from SS, if they do do another Ironman I think I can probably bring myself to display that and the War Machine together if I cant get a mark VI

Mark VI is one of my fav statue . I would like to get this one day. I hope they will do a Mark II and have electroplated armor. if not mistaken sideshow did mention they will do all the armor.

Yea, they did say they would make all of them in 1/4 scale at some point...SOME POINT being the key words here. Mark VI is definitely one my absolute favorites and would be one of the last statues I ever sell should it come to that.

Probably my most favourite Sideshow collectable in my collection...love this maquette! I have even gone one step further and am in the process of completely re-vamping mine. I have decided to respray all the red and silver parts to improve Sideshows paintwork as i wasnt too overly keen on the silver chrome parts and looked rather dull, once i've done that i will then begin with adding some battle damage to recreate that amazing final scene with War Machine in Iron Man 2 (i will also be customising my War Machine once the Iron Man is completed). However, the main reason i wanted to customise my Iron Man maquette was that i wasnt particularly happy with the base and wanted to give it a little kick by adding some foliage and water puddles! I'm hoping it all comes together otherwise i've ruined my favourite piece I'll load up some WIP pics shortly for you to see how i'm getting on.

By the way, i'm all for a new Iron Man 1/4 maquette or premium format...however i dont think we'll see anymore Iron Man statues until we get Iron Man 3 out the way...then for sure Sideshow will have something up there sleeves
