So you guy's think this will ship next month? It still says December and my last flex is Dec. 5th on this.. It would be nice to get this before x-mas...

I think theres a good chance it will ship in december, all there other marvel statues like cap and the modern thor have had there delays announced well before they were due, so for them not reschedule flex pays is a good sign. May not ship on the 5th but some time in december would be great

Forgot I even ordered this. I'm on the fence about it and might cancel it last minute. Still can't believe they never add the wrist rocket. That's why XM is the new king.

I for one can't wait for this ;)

IP will look great minus the forearm mini gun that Sideshow is too ****ing lazy to add on.

It's the Mk 42 and other complimentary Iron Man pieces they will continue to crap the bed on.

Same here, specially if it turns out like this..:clap

:rock

No no and no, it must turn out like this, for me. :wink1:

:exactly:

Gonna get that forearm rocket commissioned Eric if it's the last thing I do!! Pissed at how most of these Sideshow pieces need to get further customising to make it complete :gah:

I have a question for "Comic" readers. I don't read much Iron Man or Avengers to be honest so I'm looking for some wisdom.

Does Iron Patriot exist as Rhodes in the comics, at least historically?

I'm asking because my interest in buying him comes from the Secret Invasion/Dark Avengers story lines where IP was Norman Osborn.

Norman Osborn started Iron Patriot during Dark Reign. I'm not 100% positive, but I think Rhodes puts it on at some point down the line after Osborn is out.

Hmmm. Yeah, that's why I'm curious. When Iron Man 3 came out I was actually excited thinking IP was going to be a villain. I was waiting all movie.

Definitely cooler. I was really disappointed they didn't go with Osborn and instead turned Mandarin into....I'm just gonna stop. No use complaining now. It was definitely a great read, and I thought it actually made sense. They finally addressed an alternative to Stark controlling the weapons industry due to his personal conflicts.

In the comics:

Norman Osborn was Iron Patriot. Red boots, gauntlets, upper torso.

Now, James Rhodes is Iron Patriot. Same code name, but different armor. Mostly blue.

I'm confused :huh wasn't Norman Osborne Green Goblin aswell? and then his son was Hob Goblin? If im wrong then its only because I don't read comics and just watch the movies ;)
