I have not been in this hobby for like 2 years. I do purchase SSC statues and when I come back to the forum; I remembered what we were talking were the TBA edition size. The statues that I have been receiving like Batman, Superman, Hell Boy, Galactus, Gladiator Hulk, Hawkeyes and so on are all, though not perfect, are better than acceptable; this one, I do agree is way below what we paid for. It is a dilemma to me, personally, I don't like the mumbo jumbo of returning things but this seems like showing SSC, "Hell yeah, just give us whatever you send us and we will be grateful."

Sorry to break up all this Galaga talk but I just wanted anyone who has Mk. 42 Maquette on PO that I received a "shipping soon" notice from SS. I was lucky enough to get (I'm not going to say great) a decent IP Maquette where the only issue was paint drool mostly on the back of the torso. The Arc Reactor was the deciding factor as to keep it or return it and luckily, mine looked fine (not perfect). The base, arms and legs were all pretty much great; seemed like someone else painted the torso and helmet. I'm taking my chances on 42 but my hopes are definitely not high.

Here's a few pictures of mine, lighting is pretty dim but the paint job is pretty consistent across the statue as well as smudges in a few spots. Sorry about the size of the images, still trying to learn how to resize them

Whats with all the extreme, near microscopic close up photos guys?
I mean yea there are some paint issues but do we all get that close to our statues?
Just wondering cause I can get a magnifying glass too and find fault at 100% of any statue I own, no matter what company you name it!
