Gentle Giant is also known to be a little more expensive from what I've read, and also takes an eternity to churn out product. It will be interesting to see how their Igor sells, he did look amazing at SDCC.

Igor is indeed a killer piece by GG, I also like the dynamic pose of their IP but not so much their paint apps...

But the bases...WTF!!!

So many IM releases, You figure with so many competition, the price should go lower or at least the Quality be better. Let's hope

I'm expecting a much higher level of quality from this release compared to some of the other IM 3 releases yet.

Sideshow version usually look the best because they work closely in making of the movie. If this PF version could cost $350-400, it would be awesome. $500-600 the most is acceptable. We just have to pray. Anything Iron Man related is getting more expensive these days.

There's no doubting Legacy are great at what they do. It's whether the factory can match the paint application.

Where did we get it confirmed that one of the releases will be war machine? I know its a simple repaint but i would prefer if we are getting 3 to get 3 diff molds.

Its a true point what your saying but I don't think that will be the case with the Iron Man license. The last time we saw this was with the Sideshow Stormtrooper PF's. They released the original White Stormie PF, then milked the same mould but instead painted it black and added weathering to create the Blackhole Stormie...and then did exactly the same thing with a third Stormtrooper, this time with adding just blue stripes down it! So they used the same mould 3 times and just changed the colour scheme!!!

All depends on how it turns out. But it isn't twice the price. The IM maquette was $500 at MSRP. That was 3 years ago.

K, this is just me guessing and not based on facts, but:

Your proposed max price of $599,- is probably what this is gonna cost you. SS teaser to pre-order time as quite a while, my guess they will put up Mark42 and IP at Q2 2014. Until then prices will continue to rise (look into the rising pricetags for PF's this year).
Furthermore Legacy is involved making this a 'Maquette'. You will not have one in hand until 2015 (hopefully), so prepare for atleast Gladiator/Apoc pricing.

Another thing bothering me, these things will release two years after IM3 easily. By then we saw a new Avenger movie (and another IM?) with another slew of new suits. Lot's of people don't really like Mark42 and IP, why would spend big $$$ for version of IM you deem inferior?

So after all these years, they finally decide to do Iron Man PFs, and they start out with IM3?

I'm just want the Mark III. And maybe Mark V.

Great shout! I'd love a Loki! Have to say, been a bit disappointed with some of the Marvel Movie Villians of late. Have'nt been impressed with the Silver Samurai in Wolverine, the Dark Elf in Thor 2, Doc Oc and Lizard in the Spidey movies, Mandarin in IM3, to name but a few...Loki on the other hand has been the best so far!

In regards to the Avengers PF line up, we've had the Hulk and Widow so far so hopefully a Hawkeye, Iron Man and Captain will follow who knows? For me, I think that boat has sailed now and so Sideshow will have a brand new Avengers movie in 2015 to concentrate on!!
