Love him. I'm totally all in for this line
Only thing I think could improve it is his eyes being more accurate to movie like the hot toys one. Other than that amazing detail and very big

Just finished watching your vid on Youtube, and though I have the piece in hand, I've just gotten in the habit of watching all your 1/4 statue vids.
Weird that your piece had less wrapping etc around the body and base. If you look at my unboxing pics a few pages back, mine were all properly wrapped.
And I agree the piece is quite big, scale wise. But I also think it seems a bit big even against the Falcon piece that I have.

That did it for me, finally. All of this diorama just speaks to me, as statues go
. Lots of Black Panthers but this one for me just has that prowling energy, more than any of the other BPs I've seen, including XM. All that velvety black and metallic and silver. Even w. the mask issue - and I'm still not convinced that tho more SA adding the markings really would benefit this piece, at this scale - it just might look too busy, maybe. I think the eyes are re-doable, maybe in the future, if I really want that.Putting BP in front of the shield - that's kind of how I see these pieces, eventually, in front of some CW art poster, so was happy to see those shots

Given the size of Black Panther I was surprised I was able to fit it together with Black Widow in the Besta (with a little help).

How much in AUD did you end up paying for this? As I got this in hand two weeks ago for $900 from Popcultcha after their usual 10% discount.

So if I had purchased through Sideshow it would've been about $1,050 AUD before rewards [(600 + 170)/0.755 * 1.03]. Lucky I went through Popcultcha. And with Australia charging Duties and GST from 1st of July I doubt I'll ever buy anything sizable directly from Sideshow in the future.
And yeah delivery costs have really gone up for those outside the US. I have Dark Phoenix (1st direct SS purchase) coming and when I originally made my order the estimated delivery was $92.57 USD now as it's about to ship it's something like $150.15 USD!

Funny thing for me was, it was opposite - blew off all of these at first; WS is my favorite character but no; but guess the fig kept dragging me back and then that Insta picture of WS and Falcon came out and basically the more I look, the more I like. For me (if IS keeps up the QC) these figures seem to be a "perfect" artistic representation of an amazing film.
It's all good! Folks IMO should collect what they like. I've passed on pieces that would have been part of a nice pair, because something to me was off and didn't want to manage something I really don't like that much.
If folks have time, hope all getting BP can post a pic or two!

I'm having a string of really bad luck with statues lately
I'm debating on what to do
I feel like gluing it but there is a piece missing and it's not in the foam

The "metal" sheet on the base is broken away
If Sideshow tells me to destroy this base, I literally will cry....that's why I'm hesitating to notify them...

Damn. Well it is on the back on the base.
But if you're able to get a replacement, all the better.
And if they do ask you to smash it, can you take a few pics. As that base is probably the heaviest base I have in my collection and I want to know how solid it actually is.
