I stayed until the very last flicker of the projector. The legend"TONY STARK WILL RETURN" was the last image.

WM 2.0. IT WASN'T EVEN ON THE SCREEN!!!!

Along with Red Snapper that was on the screen for 3.6 seconds. HT are joking, surely.

It wasn't even in it. They stall on main characters from other licenses but make a figure from something that wasn't even in this movie :gah:

So looks like heroes retiring from being heroes is the new 'heroes losing or giving up their powers' trope :lol

As people have said, the very last frame of the film was 'Tony Stark Will Return'. All your complaints are very unjust.

You're starting to come off very bitter about all the attention IM3 is getting compared to your loving franchises like X-Men.

The whole ending of the movie was about him giving up the armour. And it says Tony Stark not Iron Man will return. Hence retiring.

All my complaints? Aside from saying War Machine wasn't in the film and shouldn't have been made, just like these guys who you aren't singling out...

It's not even in the movie. How can they even justify this?

They can bugger off, it's not even in the film.

This armour isn't even in the friggin movie.

This isn't even in the movie. Why make characters that don't even exist.

... i haven't said one bad thing about Iron Man figures, check your facts before labelling someone :lecture

What I got from the ending was, Tony won't be in the suits anymore. He will be using them remotely, just like when he did saving the people from the plane.

I think he just got over his obsession, realised *he* is iron man, the suit doesn't make the man, nor does the arc reactor in his chest.

Iron man will return

The end of the movie was about him realizing that the suits weren't a part of him, they are him, he is Iron Man. So whether he has a suit or not it doesn't matter. The ending was him saying I am Iron Man whilst driving off with a screwdriver and dummy. Clearly showing he's off to build something.

What about your complaints about the Mandarin? (ie Trev) When it's obvious who the real Mandarin is, all I know is every time I've seen you comment in these Iron Man threads it's something negative. And I'm not speaking about the figures, I'm speaking about the Iron Man films.

Come on dude, just give it a rest. You clearly thought Iron Man was flawed but you don't need to keep making a digs at Hot Toys/Iron Man.

Of course he is. Iron Man 4. Summer 2015. Unless you think Disney are sick of making a few hundred million bucks every couple of years.... ;)

Whilst Iron Man 3 was a nice end to the story arc I can see an Iron Man 4 within the next few years (with or without RDJ). Look how much money 3 has made on it's opening weekend.

I just saw the movie and naturally want to talk about it, I've said no worse than others have said. i've been kinda 50/50

I've said War Machine wasn't and others were barely even in the film, just like other posters have said.

I said the CGI wasn't as good as previous iron man movies, like others have said and that the comedy was out of place.

That and my conflicted thoughts on Mandarin are the only negative things i've said, all of my issues with the film are legitimate opinions that tohers have said.

I've also said...

Iron Man 3 - 8/10

I liked it. it was good, not excellent but very good.

The Comedy was great, i think it'll hold up much better than the one-liner jokes of Avengers.

The connectivity to the other ACU movies was there but not thrust down our throats, more like references here and there but too often imo.

Characters were all around pretty decent with Pepper, Mandarin and Killian taking centre stage for me.

I'm conflicted about The Mandarin as the way he was presented was excellent and if used to his potential cold've been amazing.

With that said him as Trevor was just funny as hell and Kingsly played it great.

The armours weren't the focus of the movie which was great, but same again it's a shame we didn't get to see them for more that a few seconds

I liked the "is it the man or the armour?" theme throughout the movie.

I wish Iron Patriot had more action.

Overall it's not as good as Iron Man but better than IM2 & TIH and on par with Thor and TFA.

So i'd say the Iron Man trilogy is on par with most other superhero trilogies.

It had one great film in Iron Man (Spider-Man 2, X2, The Dark Knight, Blade)

One bad film in Iron Man 2 (Spider-Man 3, X-Men 3, TDKR, Blade Trinity)

And one good film in Iron Man 3 (Spider-Man, X-Men, Batman Begins, Blade 2)

While most others start of good, achieve the best on the second outing and falter at the end, Iron Man is the first to start off the best, falter on the second outing and improve with the last.

My thoughts about Mandarin are not just negative *****ing...

I'm conflicted over the Mandarin handling. I thought he looked liked he could've been such an amazing villain but then they turned him into a joke. As the joke he was hilarious though so i'm kinda all over the place with that

I liked Trevor, he was funny and played well but it shouldn't have been this way. He would've been the best ACU villain had they not ruined his Mandarin Character

Fact is Marvel made a very is devisive movie that has split viewers down the middle, get used to the negativity because others will hate it with a passion and be far more negative than i've been.

As for the figures, only since seeing the movie have i commented in any of the threads, and just once to say it wasn't needed because of the short screentime. Go check out the Batman Retuns or Man of steel threads if you wanna see HT Iron Man haters.
