Do you think whatever Mark III, V, VI, & VII faced was greater than the deadly heat measuring 3000 degrees Celsius. :elefant

That could be like, Sun's surface tempature! :lol

Sun's surface temperature is almost twice hotter. :lecture

Let's admit it, Tony's power was scaled down a bit just to make the enemy more threatening.

I cannot believe that Marvel would do something like this.

Cap got the Red Skull, Thor has Loki.
Heck even Hulk got the Abomb.

And IM gets????? A fake Mandarin???

Very very disappointing.

Killiandarin :wave
A good match for IM, albeit over-powered. (or IM under-powered)

only one thing really bothered me and that is, every one who got issued the extremis virus seem to also have been given 'unstable molecules' clothing. killian's pants and pepper's sport's bra and undies are all made by mr. fantastic, i'm telling you.

I always considered Stark's remark about the sports bra as breaking the fourth wall. :lol
It was placed there just to avoid an R-13 rating.

The only figure that I really hope they make after watching the movie. Along with Shotgun.

Pretty awesome, like it as much as HB.

Killian is the mandarin. Trevor is just a decoy - just like how watanabe was the decoy in batman begins.

BUT he wasn't made into a joke. He was based on Ubu, Ra's most trusted bodyguard.

Plus you cannot compare BB and IM3, Marvel has always been on the straight and narrow when it comes to their arch nemesis, imagine if any of the other heroes MAIN villain was made into a joke. The same uproar would ensue.

And since Marvel has already introduced aliens into its 'world', Mandarin's ten 'alien' rings would fit perfectly into the story. I mean a extremis enhanced super soldier is supposed to make an impressive villain?

Nope, sorry Marvel try harder.

I would buy at least 8 of those as plasic MMS figures, maybe more.

But with die-cast and price increases i'm just hoping for Shotgun, Gemini and maybe Sneaky & Silver Centurion

Was hoping for some Hot Toys teaser or reveal today :(

Me too since the movie releases in the US today it would be a great time to show something.

LOL, I'm wondering if the people at Hot Toys saw the movie and collectively said "Oh $h!*" after seeing
how little screen time all of the secondary suits had, and the fact that The Mandarin is actually more of a character out of The Hangover.

Personally, I don't need the figure to have a big part in the movie to like it or get it. 2 of my favorite figures are Milk War Machine and Secret Project Iron Man.

And its odd how some are begging, kicking and screaming for a Pepper in Armor, considering she only wore the armor for a few minutes, yet are saying they don't want certain armors because of their limited screen time. :dunno

I'd much rather have a cool looking armor that had 15 seconds of screen time than the same Mark XVII that Tony wore with a Pepper HS. But thats me.

I'm sort of in the middle. I like figures that are unique like Iron Patriot, but for me it does help if I liked a character more in the movie.

I REALLY wanted a Mandarin figure before seeing the movie, and although he will likely be a VERY cool looking figure, the fact that he ends up not even being a villain at all sort of ruins it for me. But, I'll have to see the final product first to decide.

It also depends on price.....I loooooove the look of the Heartbreaker suit. But 10 seconds of screen time vs. $250-300 is hard to swallow for me.

But Pepper was kinda badass in that scene though, so I can see where they are coming from.

I'm guessing Pepper would be made as an exclusive - with a bonus helmeted mark 42 version to go with the current die cast ver.

If thats how collect, Thats cool. l love that we're getting all these hero movies and that is the reason we're getting these high end collectibles. But my memories and background always reverts back to the fact that these are movies versions of the comic book characters I love so much.

I agree with this. First thing I told my GF as we were walking out was "That movie just saved me a ton of money."

With so little screen time given to the other armors, I probably just saved at least $1000. Definitely frees up money for Iron Whiplash and makes me even more happy that I went ahead and picked up Iron Monger.

Basically, I'm done with just the MK42, Tony Stark, and Iron Patriot. If the Power Pose line was cheaper, I'd consider picking up more. However, if the rest of the PP's are priced like Red Snapper, Hot Toys better rethink the production run numbers.

Lastly, The Mandarin. WTF. That figure went from a must have to a must skip in 1 scene.
