If Enterbay is doing NBA stuff, then why can't any of these companies pick up on the trend of one of the hottest sports out there? You know they would sell faster than anything. If they made an Anderson Silva figure........BOUGHT!

First they make ping pong champion, then they make chess champion, then skateboard champion, and then they make MMA champion. One great, sure-seller at a time, my friend.

Until this time we must be patient. But then patience ends and........BOUGHT!

I don't think companies are interested in making figures that only five people will buy.

Who in MMA is known the world over compared to Tyson? That Brock fella and who else?

They would be good for custom fodder. Nothing else. :lol

No, I think you're on to something man.....

Maybe you should sell the house and the car and everything you own, get a big loan, head to China and start producing these babies !

You know you'll end up with a better house, car, and more money then you can count, cause.. they will sell faster then anything. Especially an Anderson Silva figure.

People thinking popularity of something automatically translates to popularity in collectibles.

Unfortunately, 99% of MMA fans don't buy dolls. People fail to realize how niche of a hobby this is.

Face it people, just cause its popular doesn't mean everyone wants dolls or toys of it.

Sadly +1

I love watching UFC, and I'd be down to buy an Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, GSP, and a Thiago Alves if he's on sale! :yess: But that's only if the joints aren't in your face obvious and the headsculpts/paint are on Hot Toys level.

That said.... none of my friends would pay $100+ for even one 1/6 figure from any license.

I believe these round 5 figure heads are in 1/6 scale. Some of the sculpts look pretty good so you could pair them with those kaustic plastik muscle bodies and make a pretty nice custom:

I don't really understand all the hate on this post. Jerk offs will buy a private contractor woman figure in a bunny suit and the "awesome" comments come pouring through.
You don't like mma, okay fine, but I do remember when muscle bodies weren't sold seperately and l would bet anything all of these haters would buy one just for the body.
All the stuff that is produced and everybody wants to talk mess.

So you just wanted sunshine pumping posts?

People that know the 1/6 world responded that the line would not do well. And being there are no high end MMA figures seems that is true.

i think the figures are about 7 inches,so a 1/6 body would be too big

Is it any different than people sunshine pumping another post that I might not agree with? I'm not on there telling people what they think is dumb. To each his own. I would like to see MMA figures, and I'm sure others do too. So why rain on my parade?

I actually made a VBSS (military) Wanderlei Silva figure with a round 5 head. It looks pretty cool. I can't find the pics right now though.
Anyways, thanks for the heads up rather than a negative rant.

Well, the title of the thread is "Isn't it time for MMA 1/6 figures?". So if you arent prepared for some people to say no that it isn't time for MMA figures then why even ask a question you might not like the answer to?:dunno If anyone one is being a ******* or expressing hate its you dude, also I don't think anyone was aware the MMA pride parade was in town so try to have thicker skin when it rains.:peace
