just looked. My regular Misa has the same thing. That sucks.

And she hasn't even been out that long.

And I would imagine you kept her in an environment that was neither too dry or too damp.

Now try emailing Medicom at the address at the begining of this thread.

The prosecution rests!

My dealer was nice enough to cancel my Medi Chun-Li and order a Hot Toys Octopus figure. Would've kept Chun-Li if not for the Goku and Misa disaster. I didn't even buy those figures but I have no faith in Medi at the moment. Pretty sad because they are the company that got me addicted to 1/6 in the first place.

I knew about DBZ rubber problems and about Vader clothes rotting - for the rot could it be the climate or some fungi? Anyway I have about 6 Medicom figures (plus 2 on their way to me) and they are in good condition. But I always thought these things are high end collectibles (and quite expensive ones) and thus Medicom should use quality materials for them.

I just really hope the new upcoming releases are trouble free, I'd hate to see the new ALIEN bring a new set of problems, but the fact the release seems to keep being put back worries me a little.

Last time I checked my Vaders were fine, but some peoples outfits have started to degrade-

And hopfully your Misa will stay fine, but some have problems with the rubber-

wow... I didn't think things were THIS bad.

I only own 1 medi figure and that's Old Snake. But what's the point of buying more.

I have emailed Medicom a few times now and am getting nowhere fast. Lets take some action here. What happended to a petition etc. What about sending a complaint through Sideshow who are their distributor. Im happy to get something organised but don't know where to start??????
All I know is that the Medicom Goku was the first Medicom figure I have ever bought and being a HUGE DBZ fan, this was the ULTIMATE figure. Now I am just heart broken.

I shall approach SS and see what the general feeling is.

Go for it Wookster, and I definitely think you should draft a letter along the lines of your original post. I'll sign it.

That Vader decay is the single worst thing I've ever seen in 20 years of toy collecting.

No news yet, but I'll keep up asking till the silence becomes deafening!

Sending a new batch of emails to Medi now with links to variuos forums.:banghead

Wow, guess I got lucky with my Medi Goku.

Even still, I have Sweeney Todd and Piccolo on preorder for next year, am thinking about cancelling now due to these pictures.

Dusty has kindly agreed to forward an open letter, and Eightsamurai has offered to translate into Japanese as it appears very few if any people at Medicom can read English. Work permitting I 'll try and have it done by the end of the week and I'll check if/when Eightsamurai can translate it.

just read on toyworld that medicom have responded to the hong kong customers on Goku's cracked chest. Medi is giving them (HK collectors) chest piece to replace the cracked pieces thru the HK official importers.

I wonder what are the chance for US collector getting replacement facing this problem? would SSC be the one sending out replacement parts? Also, there is still the concern on the quality of the replacement, if its the same as the original, the chance of it cracking is pretty high. But the fact that medi actually responded is a good sign. Afterall, there are three more figures already announced in the DBZ line, probably more in the works. If this problem is not solved fast and before the upcoming figures shipped then this Line might die before we see more figure announcement.

Its all here:
