Not sure if you're serious but I wouldn't mind a Doc, just as a change of pace from the current line up.

Totally serious. A medic with what we have so far would continue the trend of variation that has characterized the Joe releases so far (think of how different Snake Eyes, Duke, Flint and Beachead are from each other).

I think Stalker is properly the next in line of key characters if you're going by importance in the filecard/comic canon. But I'd rather have Doc because 1) he'd make a badass figure, with badass accessories, and 2) he was distinct among the original green shirt line up, the same way that Scarlett and Snake Eyes were. If we can't have Scarlett until later, I want Doc in the meantime.

I don't care either, but I hope whoever it is will be like Beachhead. Personally I can't wait for Scarlett, V1 Snake Eyes, V1 Cobra Commander, Destro, Snow Serpent, etc. Doc? He would be cool but he would really be an easy kit bash if they never did him. So I can totally wait on Doc. Stalker would totally kickass. Airbourne would be visually appealing. Low Light would be totally be one my list.

I'm a sucker for official releases, and kitbashes don't do much for me unless they're fictional characters of my own invention. Airborne, Wild Bill, Low Light, Barbecue, Stalker (another easy custom), Snow Job, would all be as welcome as Doc, but I'd like to see some simpler ones get taken care of before the line starts getting deep into the more complex (and more expensive) characters. Doc would hold me over for a while if they got him out of the way early. It would ease the wait for the other '82 figures.

Doc would be a cool choice. Honestly, he wouldn't be my first idea for the next Joe figure, but he would be cool.

Plus Doc > Lifeline.

Don't get me wrong, I dug Lifeline. I just don't want to see his bright red uni.

Another reason why the comic was greater than the cartoon in my opinion: the comic and not to mention the figure itself, had Lifeline using weapons. But the cartoon made Lifeline a pacifist / conscientious objector. I guess it made for an interesting character, but the friggin card art shows him with a sidearm...

Lifeline and your personality is like God and the Devil.

All I got from the above post was...

Doc could make for a swell figure, with the right accessories. He would definitely stand out from the grunt with a machine gun that typifies the license, and is about 1000X better than ____ing Lifeline. However, he would not make my top 15 or 20 Joes.

Good thing nobody cares what those are. :exactly:
