So who is gonna start the petition thread for Hot Toys to pick the Joe license?

Or should we have a poll first to decide who makes the petition thread?

Do we need a poll thread to decide if we need a poll thread to decide whos making the petition thread?

my question is, who's gonna make the same damn thread about a day later cuz they're too lazy to search?

All good questions I think but I think we need a poll to decide if these really are good questions that need answering.

the uniform is the same. SSC would only have to mirror image the shoulder guard. and place the decal on the other side. boots and gear is the same.

they would be the easiest and quickest way (aside from more trooper varients) to appease those complaining about the # of releases this year.

It's a little more than that. Holster, boot knife (if sculpted), gloves and the collar of the shirts too. Plus the headsculpts whose hair should be mirrored and, of course, Xamot's scar. It's enough of a difference to be two individual figures.

Nobody said making a figure was easy, but you're making it sound as if making gloves and knives are innovative things.:lol. Are you just being contrarian?

The outfits could easily have the collar on both sides, reversing the holsters is simply flipping the fabric in the dye and folding it opposite, and knive sheaths difficult? Come on.... stop playin.

Headsculpts obviously need their own care, unless they computerize the process and program for a mirror image. Scar is a simple add on to one of the sculpts.

No way these get released seperately. I'll go on the record right now with a bet that it will be a two pack if they make them. Loser buys.

Nobody's saying they would be released individually (at least I don't think so). But their entire outfits are reversed so it's a little bit more than the simple variant you're making it out to be. And for the head, there's more than just the scar. Their features (especially if SS makes them with a grin) and event the hair, part, etc., are reversed, so effectively it's two different sculpts.

if they use a technology like vartal then they just reverse it in the computer prior to making the mold. even if they can't do that, SSC has made multiple head sculpts for 1 figure. its not a big deal to make 2 headsculpts. as for the costume, even if its not identical, its not hard to flip a fabric dye or template for the Chinese guys to work. The 2 will share boots, gloves, weapons.

It may not be a simple varient, but its much easier than developing 2 completely different figures and thats my point. Its the quickest way to get 2 figures aside from more varients.

I'd release them seperate as well. Well they can be offered at the same time, but each have their own packaging and not a 2-pack like Sidious.

Hasbro released them in a 2-pack so I don't see why Sideshow can't...

Oh wait, nevermind... it's Sideshow. :slap
