i thought everyone was only pretending to panic about the line, now i'm starting to think some of you are actually worried. i don't know whether you all are serious or not.

i don't know one way or the other, but i still think as long as there are 3 figures still in the queue thats pretty good. if flint ships and they don't add another figure to preorder then it may be time to have doubts.

There should be some concern, honestly. We only make up a small majority of the people that buy these. We also fill the gaps between releases with bull____ting and speculation as well as customs, etc., but that's a benefit of SSF. While we know that most of us'll buy them regardless of time gaps, etc., there are others who will likely walk because of the poor pacing and/or less interesting releases.

then SSC should probably get in gear, but until he ships, i'm not going to worry too much.

I think the non-ssf reading fans are probably even less concerned than we are, while the freaks have other stuff to keep them busy, they are also probably the most dedicated and fanatical.

If a collector is passive as to not join collecting clubs like this, they probably aren't as concerned about slow releases.

Do I need to stop giving you the credit for intellect that I normally give you?:)

At the end of the day...I am actually OK with the slow releases for now. But that will not last forever and within about 6 months, I will be screaming as loudly as anybody for more frequent releases.

At $100-$130 a pop, 4 a year is probably about right for me...(and I'm a baby bird getting 1/3 to 1/2 of mine at gohastings).

Old prices I'd be willing to get 10+ a year.

After nearly 3 years The Elite™ still don't have a Destro or Zartan or Baroness or Major Bludd or Crimson Guard or B.A.T.S. or Scarlett or Roadblock or Shipwreck or...

But don't worry. Sideshow has them all in "developement" and will get them to you by 2050, if you live long enough. :lol

The Joe line is almost three years old already?

I think SSC is just being very careful with their releases in regards to timing and edition numbers.

They seem to have been experimenting with Edition sizes since the first 2 releases and are suffering with Duke at the moment who being a main character I wouldnt expect to be on gift card already.

I mean they havent released the Edition Size on the Red ninja ex yet and Flint ships this month apparently and hes still readily available. If they revealed Destro tomorrow how many would cancel ther second or third red ninja for him or for any hot toys figure they would have to pay for at the same time?

Maybe the Joe market just isnt there?:dunno

It took almost 1 year from pre-order to get Duke. My wife gave birth to our second kid faster!
