I wonder if Sideshow can do General Colton. Seeing as how he is largely a different license. But he did spend a little time in RAH.

Now THAT is one that I would like to see them do as an updated figure with some kind of nod to the '64 12" figure.

Getting back to the Desert Trooper and Officer, while I'd rather we get all new releases instead of mulitiple variations, I hope that Sideshow loads up the Desert Officer / Trooper combo (mayber they'll be released in tandem?) with totally different gear from the previous two. I was fine with paying full price for both the Trooper and Officer, even though they essentially had all the same gear (with the exception of the differing AKs). I had to draw the line at getting the Sniper at full price, but luckily I managed to snag one during the Hastings sale. Move on to the Vipers and Crimson Guardsmen already, or gear them up in a way that excites us, Sideshow. A light machine gun, perhaps.

IF Sideshow is going to release figures that are counterpoint to others (i.e. the Desert Trooper / Officer seems to be counterpoint to Dusty), I hope they follow this trend.

Give us LowLight to counter the Cobra Sniper.

An EOD Specialist (Tunnel Rat preferably, but maybe Trip Wire) to counter Firefly.

Sideshow already told us that Snow Job was "in development" in response to one of my Ask Sideshow questions, but please don't give us an Arctic Cobra Trooper...give us a Snow Serpent.

Same goes for the upcoming "marine" Joe...give us an actual EEL!

See how excited we get when you give us info on a new figure, Sideshow? Keep it up.

I have no problems with another variant, as long as we dont wait 4 more months and it the next announcment, they just isnt enough figures out yet to keep releasing these damn troopers
I would be cool if they released him with Dusty next week and it didnt take the spot of the regular releases

Hell yeah. Honestly after what an awesome job IDW has done with Croc Master in the Cobra series I really want SS to give us one. Never thought I would say that but um ... yeah. Cobra comics are all sorts of awesome.

Gotta say I loved Sci-Fi as a kid and I think either v1 or v2 would look pretty sweet in 1/6. Wasn't big on Fast-Draw but I'd have to tip my hat to anyone with the balls to bring the original figure to life in 1/6, quilted suit and all!

I think now that we're getting the desert specialist, the display won't look quite right without the jungle specialist (Recondo), the arctic trooper (Snow Job), the diver (Torpedo), and so on.

So I say either someone like that or another main character (Stalker, Scarlett, Shipwreck, Destro, etc).
