Not sure but given he's not a variant (in the same way the new SE isn't), I wouldn't put it past them to rake the price up that disgustingly high since it's a SDCC Ex. That seems to be the practice. Even HT is getting into it like they did last year, with overpricing theirs too, despite the bloated edition sizes.
