Its time for the next Joe!

I think Serpentor would look really great as a 1/6 scale Sideshow figure, but I hated the fact that he basically replaced Cobra Commander in the show as a kid. Still do hate him for that.

Ug Wild Weasel would be fantastic and Scrap Iron? YES PLEASE. Also would love to see Wild Bill and Lift Ticket. Helicopter pilots for the damn win.

Would love to see some of the guys with nifty gear--Torpedo, Blowtorch and Ripcord come to mind. I know there are existing military figures that look like a number of these Joes (I myself have a jet fighter pilot who looks a bit like Ace), but if they aren't actual Joes, I got little use for them.

I'd be fine with a 12" Serpentor. To be quite honest I'd rather see him and/or Dr. Mindbender than Wild Weasel or Scrap-Iron.

Hmm, well Firefly's confirmed so I'm not going to count him among what I think needs to be made. Here's my Cobra preferences in order: Destro, the Baroness, Zartan, Major Bludd, the Crimson Twins, Dr. Mindbender and finally Serpentor.

As much as I like Scrap-Iron, Wild Weasel, the Dreadnoks and any other minor Cobras, I can't see my display filling up with TOO many 12" Joes and would be perfectly happy only having the major characters.

I'm pretty much in the same boat, but I wasn't as clear as I should have been. I mentioned those three as Cobra operatives. While he works with Cobra, I see Destro (and Zartan to a degree) as standing on his own.

I may be mistaken, but if I remember correctly, Scrap Iron was an employee of MARS, which means he's on Destro's payroll.

Copperhead and Wild Weasel are cool characters visually, but I don't see much appeal in them without their vehicles. Same goes for all Joes. Wild Bill is a great character, but without his helicopter, he'd feel a little incomplete to me.

I wonder if for the Joe line, SS only makes certain figs in PF but then not in 1:6 and vice versa. Seriously at this rate it would take decades to get guys like Torpedo or Low Light. So this in a way would sorta appease the joe collector.

I seriously doubt that would ever happen. Matter of fact, I'd almost put money on it. Look at the Dios. Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are guaranteed sellers in PF. That'd be like making a marvel line and excluding Wolverine.

One thing we don't yet know is if Sideshow is interested in releasing the less distinctively fictional characters. That is to say, if a guy looks just like a traditional military figure that you could find from Dragon (Torpedo or Ace for instance), is Sideshow likely to produce them?

We shall see.

I'd say that's a yes.

I'd like to think Lowlight is in the bag, eventually I think we'll see any joe thats suggested enough.
