V1 aquafresh Wetsuit FTW!!!! He'd be such a killer piece and a real stadnd-out figure on the shelf. You ever read his FC? He's a mean son of a ^^^^^. Given I'm little biased cause he's a local boy but still.

i had that V1 wetsuit figure. i forgot all about him. i'd definately take that version in 12in form. V2 looks pretty good too. i hope they give us more than just the few main characters. i'd like some figures like this.

That Wetsuit was one of my favorite toys as a kid. I remember he had a cool kind of afro in the cartoon, and was always going at it with Leatherneck, because they had a Seal/Marine rivalry.

I didn't play with any Joes after 1985 but I remember thinking Wet-Suit was cool. I did think it was lame that his figure didn't come with a gun though especially with covers like these:

I gave Wetsuit Monkey Wrench's harpoon gun. Never got why Wrench had that bs accessory when his M.O. was explosives.

I think Serpentor would look really great as a 1/6 scale Sideshow figure, but I hated the fact that he basically replaced Cobra Commander in the show as a kid. Still do hate him for that.

I'm in the same boat, he's cool but not Cobra Commander cool, I remember hating this event as a kid whenever watching the toons.

For the most part, I think you are right because the pre-86 characters are just better--they look better, they were in better comics, and they were in the better cartoons. But I think the folks at Hasbro must have just disliked post-85 characters, because we only got a stray figure from this period here or there with the 25th anniversary line (and there were plenty of chances). Who knows if the folks at Sideshow will feel the same?

No he doesn't. Shockwave (although I like him) actually seems a little out of place too. And where the hell is Tunnel Rat?

I think Shockwave is likely as a Sideshow figure. Despite being a later release, he is very popular because he looks so cool. Plus, he is a masked character, and Sideshow seems to like those.
