Georgina Haig talks about Etta’s big sacrifice & her ‘Fringe’ journey

Thanks for the link, snoopy. Hope it's not the last we see of the character, though a reset of events wouldn't make me a happy camper. Is there a decent compromise? :lol

I am still hurting. Feels like somebody just pulled my heart out of my chest. I cannot believe what just went down in that final scene.

You're welcome. :duff

I hear ya. :monkey2

So does anyone know anyone doing fan based posters from this season? I don't care what the wording is, I just would love a full size replica of the posters in this season.

I'm not sure about any fan made Fringe posters but I would like to have this one from Fox. :D

Good episode last night, but they walk a fine line from here on out regarding Peter's new powers. Hope this isn't the point where Fringe jumps the shark. I mean, powers has been a Fringe mainstay since season 1, but this is something else entirely.

It'll be interesting to see where they go with it. I just want to see him kill a bunch of baldies. :D

I just read the last two episodes will air back-to-back on January 18.

If Peter is wearing black leather and shades next week while popping brains with his thoughts = I'm out!!!

Thought last night was one of the better eps this season. Not sure if its the lower budget or lack of anything happening, but this final season is playing it a little safe.....mostly just hiding out and talking

Another terrific episode of Fringe and the animation sequence was one of the best moments of the series. Cannot wait until Friday.

After watching last night's show, looks like only 3 episodes left in the series. Does anyone know why we're only getting a 13 episode season? :dunno

Seasons 1-4 were around 22 episodes each.

Here's what I've surmised about what went down from other sources--Fox was on the verge of cancelling the series after season four. In fact, the season four finale had two different endings shot, one to close out the series for good, the other (which we saw) to setup the coming of the Observers and season five. But Fox relented due to some last minute calculating by the bean counters due to the series needing another 13 episodes to get to that special 100 episode mark which would pay back the most on syndication rights. So we get 13 more episodes; not a full 22 episode order but at least we are going to get some kind of closure (I hope).

Great setup for the next three hours that is for sure. I am going to miss this series when it leaves. It has been brilliant television.

Ahh, I see. Thanks for the info.

Well, that's a wrap; bittersweet ending to a great show. This season wasn't as good as past, and the total lack of Broyles until the end (and middle) ep was frustrating, but the last hour was good.....
