the show is so engrossing. although definitely not for the random viewer to just jump in and try and follow. I can't wait to see how they bring peter back. apparently as he gets closer they actually start to remember that there was a Peter.

I'm loving this season so far. I really liked Walter's interaction with the kid in the last episode. And him trying to lobotomize himself was disturbing and sad. John Noble really is great.

Very sad and disturbing...I actually cringed just thinking about what he was doing!

And, yes, John Noble is great!

Damn good Episode. And next week looks even better.

But I do have two questions that this episode raised.

1. If Olivia recruited Peter to get to Walter originally, how is it that Walter came to work with Olivia if Peter never existed (up until tonight)

2. Olivia said she didn't have any side effects, but she has with the glimmer (season 2?) . . . but maybe that never happened if Peter never existed?

Two weeks! I can't believe we have to wait two weeks to see what happens next. :(

I'm assuming Peter's non-existance changed quite a few things.

Episode was going slow till the middle, but overall finally glad to see Peter back.
1)I think Olivia wanted Peter's help to transition Walter in to the real world again since he was mentally unstable, not that she needed Peter to get Walter out.
2)That sounds right.

And damn, two weeks, stupid baseball playoffs

Quite the twist at the end of the episode.
I hate that it is on winter break and have to wait till January.

Fox really, really dropped the ball with Fringe this fall. The two subsequent Fridays after the World Series finished, we got repeats. We should have gotten new episodes and if we had, we would have seen this brand new one where Peter and Lincoln cross over to the other side and Olivia meets the Observer. That was probably the real cliffhanger for the winter break, not the one we saw last week. I just hope that this is not some tactic by Fox showing they have no faith in the show and are giving up on it. Fringe deserves a fifth season to conclude the story and give us a solid wrap up.

But for me, this season so far has been the bees knees. I have loved ever minute of it. Definitely fantastic to see this brilliant series once again recreating itself.
