Cool to see in-hand pics! I love the sculpt, especially the EX head, but the E.T. fingers are going to end up broken on more than a few pieces I think. Paint is definitely different and I don't get the change from the prototype but overall it's still a really nice piece.

JPs pictures make me feel much better about this. Color is a bit off but the shading is there and think he even looks good next to the old com too. Thanks for posting Joe.

Hello Everyone!
I'm new to the forum and I just got my Spiderman Comiquette today. Its my first piece from Sideshow! I love the piece but I feel a little disappointed because I found a lot of little things that I wasn't happy with. Its mainly the paint apps on the statue and the foot not going all the way in. The black webbing isn't laid on evenly and its pretty messy in some of the pics below. I don't know if I'm just being too picky or if its suppose to be like this. I was wondering what you guys think, and If it warrants a replacement from sideshow how do i go about it? Does it even qualify for a replacement? Thanks for in advance and sorry for the crappy pics.

Also On the Ex Head on the left side of his face(which would be right for us looking at the pic)...there is a black/gray smudge giving him a faint 5 o'clock shadow. Its super faint in the photos but I can see it in person.

I feel this is going to be an epidemic in regard to the black webbing. SS is already prepared an auto response for this one so prepare yourself for credit or return not replacement. Just saying.

Joe's pictures are the best so far, not quite up to the proto but not as drastically different as the first batch.

I think either way you've got a chance of getting a stinker, those paint lines will come out a mess on a good portion of statues. No biggie for me, I'm probably going to paint mine up regardless, I'm thinking you could even get a thin tipped felt pen and really define the black lines since the guide line is already done for you.

The size next to the Venom Com is perfect, it actually looks better (not that I dislike the original, just that the difference in scale looks accurate to what I imagine it to really be like).

Well, when we are talking about a character whose poses are the most dynamic in comic world, Sideshow could do something different than their comiquette! Koto's Unleashed is a good example for that. The biggest plus of this statue is the ex face in my opinion. It has flaws about the color application and doesn't match with the proto but if you don't have a Spider in your collection, this is the chance:) Sideshow is a company who doesn't like to take risks in terms of poses but there is a new player in town like XM so maybe their next attempt will be more creative. Overall it is not a bad statue but nothing special at the same time...
