Don't know mate. This is the first SSC statue i've bought in a long time. I said to my brother that it would be just like SSC to get Gwen & MJ perfect and **** Spidey up.
Did you also pick up Gwen and MJ? I'm thinking those who have picked up all 3 will be major peed off cos you'll have 2 out of 3 statues (which are supposed to be part of a set) that will have this new paint app technique and one that doesn't.So typical
Oh yea, no denying that the actual sculpt is cool. My beef lies purely with the paint apps. Sideshow promise one thing and deliver another, and what makes it worse is that its clearly part of a trio set which makes Spidey stick out like a sore thumb as being the odd one out

have to say though, your certainly not alone...if Sideshow don't nail at least 5 out of 7 of their Iron Man maquettes with proper lush paint apps then i'll be following you and collecting Bad Taste bears instead! He is small but then im sure everyone who'd ordered Spidey knew it was 1/5 scale. I think yes its small but as part of a trio display set it totally works imo
Yea, I know you out of everyone has been totally put off from ordering Sideshow stuff, especially with the rotten luck you've had with the past couple of pieces you've ordered

plus I have the Spidey PF which I'm slowly thinking abt selling shortly definately want to pick up the movie Spiderman PF 
After so many complaints, Sideshow removed their pics on their order page and replaced them with new ones showing sagging arm pits Again, after so many complaints, Sideshow removed their original pics from their order page and incredibly, they replaced them with new ones showing the Arc reactor upside down and claiming that it was always meant to be that way!!! Brilliant!!!! what gives Sideshow

That's the funny thing. This forum does nothing but moan moan moan, yet the people doing it have a PO list as long as your arm.

The new threads will be opened and collectors will share their desires and excitement with each other. It is for sure their protos will look visually attractive and just because of our love to these characters, our brains tell us we have to own them in any way! Till we see the actual product comes very different from the proto, we will not be sorry to purchase it at very high prices! It is like a MATRIX movie
