Well I asked very nice,y if we could get another Spidey teaser... And I was told that they would see what they could do... So

Yes hopefully we see more of Spidey soon.
Just the opposite here. Don't need spideys supporting cast. But they do look like they will be pretty cool none the less.

Me either. I have the Com and BiB Spidey. I have no interest in starting a 1/5 scale Spidey line. I will be passing on all 1/5 Spidey related pieces. I'll just wait on their 1/4 offerings. To be honest, I can only see myself buying a fully sculpted Green Goblin PF. That's the only piece in the Spidey-verse that I have a real itch to own. Congrats to everyone that has been waiting for this. Hope they have a full reveal for all of you soon.

It's great for the ones who don't own a Spidey on here that they can finally get a SS one at retail because Spiderman is vital to any Marvel collection

That's cool. I'm not passing on the pieces because I think they look bad. I think both MJ and Gwen look great. As for Spidey, I haven't seen the finished piece so I won't comment on it. I'm really not the biggest Spidey fan in the world. If I could get a fully sculpted Green Goblin PF I'm fairly certain that I'd be all done with the Spidey line as a whole. Because of this alone, I have no interest in starting a 1/5 Spidey line. In no way did I mean to imply that the Campbell pieces look bad and that's why I'm passing on them. Quite the contrary, I think peeps that want this line will be quite happy. I'm just starting to steer away from 1/5 pieces. Now that PFs include 1/4 scale fully sculpted pieces, I will wait for the characters I want to be released in that form. Before there was no choice. If you liked fully sculpted pieces you were forced to buy Coms and most of them were in 1/5 scale. A 1/4 fully sculpted piece was the rarest of birds. Now, not so much.
No doubt. This will satisfy my Spidey addiction until they present a 1/4th or I finally pick up the com down the road. But this is good news no matter the way you slice it. The more Spidey the better.
I have the Com Ex and Iron Spidey. I'd love a new Green Goblin but I doubt we'll see too many more if any fully sculpted 1/4 Spidey pieces. Rhino and the symbiotes had to be fully sculpted, they have no cloth. Spidey Com was only fully sculpted because he's part of the set with the symbiotes. Most other Spidey characters use some sort of cloth shirt (Goblin, Sandman), jacket/coat/vest (Lizard, Kraven) or cape (Mysterio), so I think we'll start seeing more cloth on future 1/4 Spidey characters.

Ok, maybe not the biggest, but I have to up there. Only people who got me are possibly those who've marked their body, repainted their car Spidey themed, named a kid something from Spidey, or something equally as obsessive...I could never do those things.
But as for PFs including fully sculpted now, SS doesn't seem to fully sculpt any character unless they're in a onesie, like Spider-Woman and Green Lantern. Those 2 have no discernible pieces to the body of their costumes. If SS can cloth it, they will. I doubt anyone with separate cloth pieces in their costume (separate pants, shirt, belt) will get fully sculpted any time soon. It seems they're going for MORE cloth nowadays (Superman, Batman, Harley Quinn, Punisher, etc.).
Plus with comiquettes making a full resurgence, I'm sure they're doing what they can to reinvigorate that format again. Kinda makes sense why even though PFs can be fully sculpted, very few of them actually are.
We'll see. Green Goblin was already released as a mixed media PF. It would only make sense to release him as a fully sculpted piece next. I think peeps are getting ahead of themselves with the release of the 1/5 Spidey Com. He is part of the Campbell set. This does not mean there will be a whole new line of Spidey villains in the Com line. SSC knows where there bread is buttered. They admitted as much when they said they would start to focus more on PFs because that is what their customers want. In other words, their 1/4 pieces are selling better and they want to cash in. No matter what, fully sculpted PFs are far more common than they were in the past. Spiderwoman, Deadpool, and Green Lantern all could have been mixed media. Full body costumes have never stopped SSC from using mixed media. Wolverine, Sabretooth, Ms. Marvel, and Captain America (to name just a few) PFs all have the types of costumes you described and received the mixed media treatment. I have no doubt that we will even see a fully sculpted Bats and Supes PF one day. If they can do it for Spidey, they will do it for all the big guns. It will sell, that's reason enough alone to make them. We'll just have to wait for them to be made. I'm patient.
