It JUST ASSUMES that all of us noobs are retarded though, and yeah we have a lot to learn, but we aren't stupid... sorry just a little annoyed with it.

Don't let stuff or people like that get under your skin. Just enjoy the hobby. First SDCC coming up and batman should be here soon. My first piece will be here soon. Not only will Deadpool be my first piece but it will be the first SS piece I'll have ever seen in person. Now that's NOOB but who cares. You always remember your first time.

Like a girl on prom night....I know, I've been there. :yess:

We'll see. Green Goblin was already released as a mixed media PF. It would only make sense to release him as a fully sculpted piece next. I think peeps are getting ahead of themselves with the release of the 1/5 Spidey Com. He is part of the Campbell set. This does not mean there will be a whole new line of Spidey villains in the Com line. SSC knows where there bread is buttered. They admitted as much when they said they would start to focus more on PFs because that is what their customers want. In other words, their 1/4 pieces are selling better and they want to cash in. No matter what, fully sculpted PFs are far more common than they were in the past. Spiderwoman, Deadpool, and Green Lantern all could have been mixed media. Full body costumes have never stopped SSC from using mixed media. Wolverine, Sabretooth, Ms. Marvel, and Captain America (to name just a few) PFs all have the types of costumes you described and received the mixed media treatment. I have no doubt that we will even see a fully sculpted Bats and Supes PF one day. If they can do it for Spidey, they will do it for all the big guns. It will sell, that's reason enough alone to make them. We'll just have to wait for them to be made. I'm patient.

Well Deadpool does appear to have minimal cloth parts.

But Wolverine and Cap aren't in full body costumes. They have separate shirts, pants, belts, undies, etc. Spider-Womand and Green Lantern don't wear separate shirts, pants, belts...they wear onesies. There are no breaks or separate pieces in their costumes. Aside from Spidey, and Namor's tiny undies that wouldn't have been worth it, the only fully sculpted 1/4s are characters with no separate cloth pieces...Silver Surfer, Iron Man, Carnage, Venom, Rhino, Spider-Woman, Green Lantern, Poison Ivy.

If we ever see characters like Cap, Thor, Wolverine, or anyone not in a one piece costume in fully sculpted 1/4, I think it'll be a very long wait. The relatively small but highly vocal community here likes to complain about cloth but clothed PFs are what took the company to the next level, it's what they're known for, it continues to sell, and is their standard.

And before any complaining starts sorry to others for the thread derailment.

There is no use complaining about cloth. As you have said, it's a money maker and a staple in SSC products. However, there is no doubt that fully sculpted 1/4 pieces of the Big Guns will sell. That is a simple fact. If it makes dollars then it makes sense. SSC will get around to it. I'm patient. I can wait. It worked out great for me with Spidey and I'm sure it will for the other as well.

That is correct... And I can't wait to see them all, but I have a feeling Spiderman will be the only one coming home... The ladies may be an unfortunate casualty of the Gladiator Hulk PF...:rotfl

Gladiator Hulk will be causing a lot of casualties. :lol

I'm definitely interested in Spidey. I'll reserve judgement on the other two until I see all three displayed together. If they look like they belong as a set, then I'll be more open.

He totally screwed up the plan I had, but I was ale to secure a GH at about a $150 savings below a Hulk Maq from a local AD so I took the deal, but I want expecting to get the WWHu
K persay, but damn the Gladiator Hulk is amazing.

As for Spidey I know the are not planning any 1/4 for awhile, and this Com could be awesome... So we will see ... Only knw I can't wait for the reveal.

My guess is they'll look like a set as far as them all being based on JSC's artwork and having his artistic style on all 3...but at the same time they won't look like a set in the way that X-Men on X bases look like a set because these 3 statues are all doing completely different things.

Ah. Well, if that's the case, I'll take Spidey and pass on the rest. :lol
