If you have to drop one, I'd drop supes, bats is better. But, consider that SS has just started producing the DC line, & will surely come out with many more versions of both characters. I personally want both characters, but have not ordered either, as I prefer fully sculpted, & am sure way better versions are right around the corner.
As for Spiderman, who has already been released many times in multiple formats, the original comi is by far the best version, anywhere. So your choice is really quite simple, especially if you have a great deal lined up. Get the spidey, which is a masterpiece, & don't look back.
I completely agree with you there. I have a friend who is as big a Superman fan as I am with Spidey. We constantly clown on each others preference whenever the opportunity rises. He would definitely disagree with you there but what do DC fans know except that they are all 
I've seen/read worse things on the boards then this and there are numerous of other things that do bother me but I don't really see the problem here...
