I agree. It's about the entire piece for me. If the character is 1/4 and 20" or 1/6 with a killer base making it 20 ish inches it's in the total package I'll take either. Really want them to release this for pre order. Gwen later this week, what was the time between mj and Gwen? A month? Spidey at end of September? Sure hope so.

Spidey, MJ, and Gwen are all Comiquettes, and per SSCs NEW direction all NEW Comiquettes are 1/5 scale.

That was a shot from SSC twitter feed. Here is a shot of Gwen beside some other pieces ... She is small when compared to Rogue and Storm.

Deadpool is 20 inches tall, so Spidey will be ABOUT that, maybe a little more. However, Deadpool is almost ALL statue and no base... Where as the actual figure for Spidey starts at Deadpools knees (yes I know he is hunch). Now, imthinkmthe hight is okay, but where you may find this lacking is the bulk of the statue.... It just may feel small, thin, and tiny to some.

Must...resist...stupid...jokes!!!
But thanks for the insight. Wish I saw it in person myself. Most likely getting it though. It's either this or throw away large quantities of money at the old Comi and I'm not spending close to a grand for a statue. Not to mention the old Comi is too heavy to go on a glass shelf in my detolf. This one may actually be ok.

Yeah, everyone makes these statements based off their opinions. There are even peeps here that'll insist the original PF is the best looking Spidey that has been released. To each their own. I'm just very happy to own the 1st Com. It was THE Spidey statue I had been waiting a loooong time for. Before it was released, I had not liked a single Spidey statue released by ANY company. There was a huge hole in my BD and SSC Marvel collection. The SSC Com took care of that and the Koto Spidey took care of my 1/6 scale Spidey needs. That Koto Spidey is also a KILLER piece.
