I own the original com and the PF, and it's still a must for me :panic:

Nothing wrong with that. I'm not really a huge Spidey fan. I do like the character but he isn't at the top of my Marvel list. Unless the preview pics blow me away, the original Com will be enough for me.

This is a great example what SS can do in 1/5 scale, and what better character to do it with. If you collect a lot of Sideshow, not getting into the 1/4 scale can be kinda hard, especially when it comes to Marvel. When they do smaller scale really well people usually love it despite preaching 1/4 scale as gospel. Look at how many people swear by the Punisher cq, and one of my personal favs is the Psylocke cq. This also may have more to do with fully sculpted vs. Mixed media.

Oh for sure. Just like there will be those who think this pose is too much like their com they own. There will many reasons to buy and not to buy.

Very true. This piece will sell regardless. It is a nice looking statue and there are a lot of Spidey fans out there. It's good that this is getting released for all the fans that still need a classic SSC Spidey in their collection.

I really try to go 1:5/6 for my Marvel collection but Deadpool just screwed me on that.

:goodpost: I agree. I have a lot of both 1/4 and 1/5. I always liked my 1/5 X Men more than the 1/4 PF's but I kept ordering the PF's because that's what's respected. Just this week I have been thinking about how I still like my 1/5 more despite them not being worth much.

Thats what im talking about! Get what you like, not something because of the hype, low es, or because you think the value would double in 3 months :hi5:

Hobgoblin is a masterpiece, in my opinion...he's 1/5.

Beast Comiquette is 1/5 scale and is one of the sickest sculpts of him ever done IMO. Effing love that statue. MJ, Emma, and Mystique from the AH collection. Lots of great 1/5 sculpts out there.

Too many words in a reply to Eli. The post should have just been. STFU Eli :lecture :lol

Deadpool is like 20 in tall...spidey seems a bit taller...obviously it's a tall base, but I'm liking the size...
