ES was 7000, granted he was cheaper he also sells for about 4 times his original price.

Its not about the ES guys, its about how good the piece is. Thats what will dictate how rare it is to find later.

Bats is a serious heavy hitter license my hat's off to ss if they can shift them. I remember the SSW Sauron, I had my doubts over it's ES but it sold out.

So is Spider-man, and this is a Spider-man set if nothing else. We all have doubts but really most things sell out that Sideshow produces. Its kind of odd when they don't.

Agreed on all counts. If I wasn't going 1/4 scale heavy with my collecting I'd be on these, and who knows, maybe i will get spidey, just like Bats, you can never go wrong with a good Spider-man statue, no matter the scale.

I beg to differ. I have several dc direct and diamond products worth less than retail due to high es. At best maybe double like an ah catwoman. Most of the black white line isn't anything to get excited about in terms of value increase. I can get him for 150 maybe less. And he wasn't $250 let alone $400 like the pf or $600 like planet hulk

that's essentially the only thing holding me back from already ordering it. i don't own anything in my collection as of now in 1/5. but if anything would make me reconsider that , it would be this piece. as of now, still on the fence, but with this edition size, i can take my time in deciding.

I'm going to be that guy... 6000 ES makes this piece a little less collectible and desirable. I like it a lot (I'm getting it), but the ES seems a bit too high for something like this. Hooray to new collectors, but geez Louise.

There were others pieces with large ESs .... I think someone mentioned some of the LOTR statues had HUGE ESs.

Collectors have grown ten fold. It's just makes sense to up the ES. Does it make me overly enthusiastic, no, but I can't blame SS when people buy this **** then flip it immediately.

I might as well cancel my flex pay (no deposit lost)...and order this again sometime next year, since I already got Bats, and Supes on PO and my wallet is really getting "'dry" lately....there's a positive side on a huge ES ...or do u think MJ is going to sell out earlier??

Word! They should just leave items up for a week or two, then close it out and that's your ES...the number of people who ordered it because they actually want it.
