Is removing the neckpost hard?

How big is the hole?

As far as cloth goes, I cut up a spare Sideshow jedi robe I had lying around. I just glued it to the back of the helmet and folded it until I got the look I was wanting.

Neck mod, I removed the neck post and made the hole at the base of the head larger with a dremmel. The head now just rests on the shoulders. Kinda hard to explain, but pretty simple.

I really miss my Jabba set. I had to sell my entire collection in 2011 along with many other things to pay my attorney. (for Child Custody)

I will say, that of all my figures, I miss the Jabba set the most. I even built custom stone steps, added new accurate gargoyle rings, and repaired several broken teeth in the gargoyle heads. What a great set it was!

Someday again. I hope!

I take it you bought from marktplaats ;)

Yep.....if you are patient you can get great deals there. If you really want it you must act fast and offer a reasonable price. 500 euro's is reasonable for the whole set. Beats evilbay!

(For the non dutch readers.....marktplaats is a dutch ebay-esque site for trade)

Me too. I just couldn't find the space to display it properly. Oh well, it went to a good home!

A couple of Jawas does make a livelier display.:)

It has been a long wait for Sideshow to do some.

A glance at ebay sold auctions seems to indicate that Jabba and the throne with some extras like the creature packs can sell from $350 to $600 or so, although it's hard to make a straight comparison because they all include different things and some have damage, etc. My feeling is $400 to $500 for a complete set is reasonable (that's for the US -- I would expect prices to be higher in Europe).
