I don't know, I originally sold my first jabba with Box and bought another last year from sellers remorse. I threw the box and etremely huge shipping box away. My wife has made me throw all my boxes away. Jabba's throne would be easy to ship, as it is mostly flat and the railing with hooka diconnects. The weight is what makes this a beast to ship, not the size or shape. I'd say the most fragile parts are the small teeth of the little monster heads holding the O-rings. Oh, and the top of the hooka where mine arrive broken off, but i was able to reglue with out it being noticable.

I sold off most of my 1/6 about 5 years ago when I was unemployed for a while but I kept my Jabba setup... just too cool to get rid of.

Same here, other than an Obi-Wan and Darth Maul, anything 1/6 Star Wars I have is Jabba related, throne and Jabba at the center.

Yep still front and centre of my display.

:exactly:

It was the first 1/6 piece I ever bought and it'd be the last I'd sell.

It's a super-accurate sculpt and while the paint isn't great, under certain lighting it really feels like Jabba got transported onto your shelf.

You're not making it any easier, fellas.

Mine's been boxed up for over a year now. . . I'm sure as soon as I open it up to take photos, it'll be "This is actually pretty cool, I'm gonna keep it"

Nice pic, jedibear!

And yeah, even though it's ten years old and the paint's not great (surprise, surprise from SSC) I'd say Jabba/throne might be an equal "best SSC SW release" with the probe droid. They both have a major wow factor are are just so accurate. I don't think any other company has totally nailed Jabba at any scale other than SSC - and Hasbro's had about a dozen tries.

Awesome!

Love the GG Leia off her base, and that custom looks great too!

I have a special place in my heart for this thread because it was the fist thread I ever posted in. Found it while looking for a backdrop for my Jabba/throne set up and stumbled on MaulFan's work.

Always makes me smile when this thread finds its way to the front page...
