That looks fantastic, Rahmier! Your amazing paintjob aside, you really nailed the proportions with that body, and great job on the suit! I don't know why some people are saying the bbkill head is too small for a narrow shoulder body. Looks perfect.

Thank you I think it fits well on the body as well. I'm a stickler for proportions so thanks for noticing

You're underestimating Rahmier's talent at putting everything together and futzing here. Let me tell you right now that not everyone will be able to just slap the sculpt on a Narrow shoulder body and call it a day. The stock neck length on BBKill's sculpt is also quite long and Rahmier did an amazing job at hiding that fact.

The sculpt is pretty much the same size as Hot Toys' DX07 Luke, but that head is on a Slim body. We've all seen side by side images of both BBKill and Inigou's DC sculpts and know they're different sizes. I already said I thought Rahmier's bashes were both stellar because despite the difference in head size, he makes them both look very well proportioned on the same body with the same clothing. That's kind of a big deal.

Thanks you it did require a ton of futzing to make it appear this way. The neck did look kinda long at first. It just needed the shoulder padding to make the neck appear shorter. Thanks again Pixelpiper

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Piper, do you have a before-and-after shot?

No, but you posted some nice before shots here: https://www.sideshowcollectors.com/...-BOND-THREAD&p=6543554&viewfull=1#post6543554

I wasn't feeling very photographic the other day, but I had an itch to break out the knife and sandpaper. You can hold your sculpt up to the screen to see the differences. I had to sacrifice some of the texture on the neck, so I think I'll be gong in to remove most of rest of it to make sure it's more blended. Hot Toys doesn't seem to do neck texture and it doesn't hurt their sculpts any.

I totally get how Rahmier's futzing is what makes the head work so well on that body, it's just good to know that not all hope is lost if I want to attempt to put it on a narrow shoulder body. Thanks for the Luke comparison. Gives me a better idea of what I'll be dealing with when my head arrives. I have two options to try at the moment. The narrow shoulder and the enterbay rm 4.2 (which seems like it would be better in terms of the shoulder width and overall torso, but I'd have to contend with the longer legs on that one). Worst comes to worst, I'll end up getting a Coulson body like you guys suggest. :)

Nice modding!

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Got my bbkill bond head in yesterday. Love it! Spent all night painting it and put it on a narrow shoulder true type knock off body, with the DID tuxedo that also arrived yesterday (great quality and perfect fit for this body). Really happy with how it turned out. Hope you guys like.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Very nice, those pics do actually make the BBKill sculpt look good. In Rahmier's pics, the BBKill version looks like he's been hit by very heavy lift doors, everything looks pinched inwards. BBKill's still suggests Craig whereas Inigou's screams Craig and looks great in any pic I've seen. As this head has been a success, I see no reason why Inigou can't do a Skyfall version of his Craig in the future. If my budget and talent would allow it I'd get Inigou's Craig in a heartbeat, but, as it is, I'm still prepared to settle for the DID head and admire the others with quiet envy.

No argument here, except to say that other people's paint-ups and photos look just as good. With this particular paint app, I'm not terribly fond of the brownness of the hair nor the shine that appears in the photos - which could be the result of the photo.

Still working on my BBKill sculpt and just waiting for the Inigou to be delivered before I send them both out for paint. In addition to the pinched face on the BBKill, I do also find that the scale of the skin texture is far too exaggerated. You can really see it in these latest photos. The relief on the wrinkles and small pits are far too great for 1/6th scale. I've been sanding mine down to mitigate this. The highest-rated sculpts from Hot Toys and others don't have this kind of relief for example.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Here's a few more pics in better lighting that are a bit more indicative of how my figure looks in person (more accurate coloring, etc. Still showing up a little shinier in pics)

For me personally, this sculpt is hands down the best out there. A fantastic representation of Craig as he appeared in Skyfall. Now, keeping in mind that I haven't seen Inigou's in person, I feel the bbkill head edges it out in terms of realism and overall likeness. While I'll agree that the texturing on the bbkill head is a little overdone, in contrast Inigou's is too soft looking and a bit cartoonish IMO (but still a great sculpt nonetheless). Again, this is just my two cents, and the matter of which head is better is completely subjective. If somebody prefers the Inigou sculpt, then more power to them. It's a win win for us collectors having such quality options available. :)

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Damn, those photos make a marked improvement in the look of the sculpt. Nice paint app.

After finishing my subtractive mods, I'm going to try some additive. At the very least a very minor amount of epoxy to the sideburns to add a bit more hair for a more Casino Royale cut.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Image #1 is no slouch either! I pity the fool (Mr. T style) who can't see Craig (clearly) in any of these shots.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Is it also tt narrow knock off body?Looks ok with proportions.

Definitely, all those shots are great, better skin tone in that lighting too. But that low angle just looks like a movie poster.

Even though I have a Coulson body, I'm rather glad to see that the narrow works as well. Gives me more options to make multiple Craigs.
