It's a really dated sculpt but still has such a distinguishing Connery look, maybe the best I've seen it look! Great job!

Thank you Ray! It does look pretty good its just lacking the detail of newer sculpt and is a little large. Other than that it's a great likness. Can't wait for Inigou's version

Had my buddy make me some skyfall sunglasses out of metal. I'll get better pics when he gets finished tweaking them. Anybody interested in a pair shoot me a pm. He made 5 pairs of them

Got last sculpt in hand. Opinion not changed at all but I'll have some side by side pics up later. However I think past image posts have done a good job showing both sculpts. IMO the difference between them is like orange to lemon. With the real Craig being a small grapefruit. Only one of them is close enough to Craig however.

That's interesting, in that first pic the BBKill sculpt looks almost like the DID one.

Great looking Connery, considering its age it holds up quite well. I too think though that Inigou's could end up being the definitive one.

Actually, since Day 1 I was pretty critical of the BBKill sculpt - deservedly mind you, but still critical. At the end of the day however, while both sculpts are great portraits, the BBKill is by far the better likeness of Craig. I'm convinced enough to hypothesize that if you asked 100 strangers you'd get 95+ who more readily recognize the BBKill. Not that I care about popular opinion however.
Here are some issues with the Ignou sculpt:
The jawline is not nearly square enough - very obvious in profile
The chin is too pointy
The space between the chin and lower lip is far too indented
The lower lip sticks out too far
The upper cheeks (under the eyes) are too flat
There are only a few angles at which this sculpt readily looks like Craig. When you place the sculpt so that you can see the issues above, it breaks the illusion. The BBKill on the other hand has the opposite, it looks more like Craig except in very few/rare circumstances. Once modified, even more so.
I'm considering modifying the Inigou sculpt as well, but I think only the chin and lower lip can be addressed easily and I'm not sure if that will make a big enough difference to warrant the work.

Sorry guys but Inigou's sculpt had very little detail in the sculpt and skin texture. While BBKill's might have too much the likeness is there on both. Hell even the real Daniel looks very different from picture to picture. Tough call to which sculpt is better. To each his own but there will be a more definitive version released soon

Sure about what I like/prefer, but I did major in Art and Art history for some perspective with a lot of studio and live model experience. I also have a crap-load of reference photos of Craig and the issues I pointed out are pretty much as plain as day. So while you may like one more than the other, if you don't see the faults in either of them, I'm sorry, but it doesn't mean they're not there. I stand by precisely what I have written about both sculpts and present those issues as fact based on analysis. I can make a collage of Craig images and post that, but a Google Image search for his name will also pull up hundreds of photos for anyone to compare.
