Another iconic look is the black stealth outfit he wears during his genuine spying moments -- like at Goldfinger's factory or Largo's Palmyra. The outfit that Sideshow did for him with the backpack.

That's actually how I have my current Connery displayed. Although, i'm currently not using the backpack. My apologies for the bad phone pics.

Thanks guys! I really do think that Sideshow did a fantastic job with their Connery sculpts, but I also can't wait to have bbkill's Connery sculpt in my collection. All I need is an outfit for him and I'll be all set.

Awesome paint job Cap'n!

I think it the first paint job I like and where he looks like Connery though every time, he looks like he's startled about something. To be fair, the more I see this head and the more my vote goes to sideshow Bond in terms of likeness.

Thank you! It looks better in hand, as usual, my photography skills blow.

He is VERY wide eyed, that's for sure, but the more I've looked at old screencaps from the movies, I realized Connery did that wide eyed look a LOT. It was like his "determined" expression. So as soon as I tried not to fight it...it looked good lol.

I'd say to anyone painting this guy up, that the key is in the eyebrows - Connery has thick ones, but the tops are very thin - only the bottoms are thick. So if you paint them all completely as sculpted it'll throw off the sculpt.

Some nice paint ups here, the BBkill peirce leaves a bit for me to desire though to be honest.

It's funny because just after my comment, I went up and watched From Russia With Love, and well, that sculpt, and your paint job are pretty dead on. And so is Sideshow's!

As I said in an earlier post, I think that the only detail detracting it from being perfect is that the face isn't long enough.

Anyway Cap'n, thanks for the tip! I will likely start painting mine next WE and use you're as a template!

Hoping for a pic of the complete suit very soon.

That tie material sure looks like a dead ringer for the actual tie at scale.
