Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

AVTAK is underrated.....the firetruck scene I could do w/o but otherwise I find it passable.....Walken is among the best villains imo so that certainly helps.

I find GF overrated......imo FRWL and OHMSS are better.

FYEO and OP are also underrated......good down-to-Earth plots , OP esp. Conti did a good job on FYEO st (some cues are a little bit much 80s disco but it's not really that annoying)

LTK is also underrated , Davi was awesome as Sanchez......LTK seemed very influenced by Miami Vice (drugs , takes place in Florida area etc)

CR and QOS FTW! Or how about YOLT? I also enjoyed DAF as a less than serious movie. I also prefer these movies mentioned by their full names!:monkey3

I really like this sculpt. The only problem I have with it is the hairline. It comes down over his forehead to much. I'd still love to have it.

Has anyone ever bought anything for this store before?

ROADSHOW 1/6 Action Figure Head Sculpt-Daniel Craig James Bond

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I liked Moonraker also...My favorite Roger Moore Bond film was Octopussy...

I thought so too! But Moore's always my favourite Bond!

I like all Bond movies until Daniel Craig comes in.:slap Anyone know if Craig will ever be replaced? Last I read, EON want him for another 5 movies, argh!

Really? May I ask why? I'm just curious.

Moore is probably my least favorite Bond. I really enjoy Live and Let Die and Man with the Golden Gun. I think he's great in those. But in the later movies I found him to be too... tongue and cheek.

I really like Daniel Craig. I think he's a little rough for Bond, but I think he embodies Fleming's Bond closer than most previous actors.

You have your fave and I have mine, simple as that! You like Craig and I don't! I didn't ask you to favor any other actors over whoever you like! Jeez!

ROADSHOW 1/6 Action Figure Head Sculpt-Daniel Craig James Bond

Never bought from the store. They have an older Connery too. The sculpts are ok, but they seem a little off. Look good from certain angles. Still looking for a good Craig sculpt in the proper scale.

Oh. Okay then.

I know what you mean.

Denny Kim is working on one now, but I don't know if and when it will be available.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

That Roadshow sculpt is a pretty solid QoS era sculpt. But we're gonna need a new one for Skyfall...

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

New to this site and I have seen the great things things you all have done. I have a question for you all, I recently picked up a James Bond Goldfinger figure for dirt cheap, I wanted to get a different suit for him along the lines of the Dr. No grey suit. Any advice? I have been looking on Ebay but wanted to get the opinions of people who have more experience!! Thanks in advance and some of you guys do amazing stuff!!!!!

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

The likeness was weak from the off though really. I'd be tempted to buy it and send it for a repaint though as it may have potential.

I'm not usually one to care about these things... but that is an ugly-ass haircut on Craig. If, Eon willing, HT gets the licence this year, I pray any Craig figure we get is from CR or QoS. That Skyfall style makes him look like a washed out chimp.

Welcome to the site. Here's one of my Connery's with a TTL suit.

This is it here (but hard to find):

The other suit that was supposed to be quite good (and others on here have used it) is the Clark Kent HT suit.

You might have more luck hunting down that one. Good luck. :wave

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

The roadshow doesn't actually look that bad, i'd definitely be tempted to get it repainted, lighter eyes and hair will definitely help it!
