Cant think of another movie that deserves thAT more IMO. I bet Avatar is #1 Movie of all time by the end of the month.

whatever man, people love this movie it may not appeal to you but name one movie that got so much hype that wasnt original or involved a superhero just one. Please dont make up an excuse for why its succesful either becuase people coulda dumped this movie a while ago.

I dont know what you like i assumed it didnt appeal to you, Its not being overhyped is it wrong that people actually like this movie, go anywhere its only a handfull of people who hate the movie.

What movie is original nowadays, i havent seen a movie like avatar when a man takes control of an alien body and flys on dragons and glowing worlds and stuff like that.

Thats not a plot. Those are events.

I have never seen some jump into a Delta Mech Execellorator suit, and fall down and say "My bad!"

But that was from GI JOE....and adaptation of a cartoon/comic/toy line.

I am still shocked at this. I am honestly surprised that this movie has had the wide appeal it has. I understand why Titanic did so well, but this boggles my mind just given the whole sci-fi premise.

People are definitely making this out to be more than it is, but it shows to tell a lot of those who thought the special effects weren't anything mind blowing. Oh yes they were. And a huge advancement in special effects they were.

But greatest film of our generation... That belongs to the ShawShank Redemption!
