I think we all got the idea of your opinions.. I think the fun of discussion is to talk about our points of view... but this topic lost that XD

Generally speaking some of the best film discussion on the net can be found at hometheaterforum.com. Nowhere near the "opinion as fact" derailing you see here. Avatar's film merits are discussed at length and while there are certainly differences of opinion I think you'll find very interesting takes on the movie's story and cultural impact.
