Re: I saw AVATAR in 3D!

I went to see the dark knight there and it was awesome. Can't wait to see this with it being 3d and all. You'd think they would build more of them.

I bet Batman was awesome! I've just checked and there is one in Bradford which isn't that far from me so will see if i can get there. :rock

Go for it mate. Its worth the extra effort to get there. There is a massive difference and if this movie is as amazing as it sounds visually I'm sure it will be better than anything else so far.

My impression :

I am french, I saw the film in preview last night, and James Cameron is a genius!

A masterpiece! Extraordinary!

Awesome, this word is not strong enough to qualify this movie

Since Star Wars and Lord of the Ring I've seen anything as powerful
The movie just passed a new visual dimension
After the transition from black and white to color, a new stage just been reached with AVATAR!

History is simply like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, but the narrative power of Cameron coupled to the image makes this film a work absolutely unique in its universe and the emotion emerges!

Do you ask more questions, go live this dream awake on Pandora, believe me when the credits appear, we just want it to plunge into this world amazing!

Go see this is a breathtaking experience, a new saga is born just a rebirth of cinema sicences fiction!

I am Irish, I am male, I am heterosexual and I still think Titanic is a great film and deserved the Best Picture Oscar!!

Um dude, I did say that the comment WAS NOT targeted towards you. And you think I'm blind and stupid. Watching Avatar on dvd would be like watching Star Wars on a PSP with a black and white screen. I'd call it a waste of time, just like talking to you.

Yes, that's my fault. I read your post quickly and though it said what it was directed to me. Sorry.

Who besides Shai?

I could careless what Shai thinks of this film, I am stoked to see it. Even the self proclaimed french God is wrong so I am going in like a giddy kid who's about to have his world jolted... then perhaps disappointed. Maybe, maybe not.. or maybe, just maybe I think it's... a-o-k.

*falls asleep*

Re: I saw AVATAR in 3D!

I'm English and cor blimey mate guv'nor I can't wait to get up the apples and pears and see this film. Wait.. we don't talk like that (only in american films  )

Manchester printworks mate. They've got an Imax in there.

I saw Star Trek there... was amazing how much more detail you could get from the big screen, and how immersive it made it all feel. Made Jane feel ill though (and it was only 2D)

Seeing Avatar in 3D this weekend in Liverpool city centre... not IMAX but a good quality arthouse cinema with great seats, great screens and NO KIDS :rotfl

If I enjoy it (and I'm assuming I will... even if it IS just Dances with Smurfs in Space) then I'll probably go see it in the Printworks on IMAX at some point :D

Roll on Sunday, 4:30pm.... :rock
