He never drowned.

He did, it has been said in more than one film. his own mother kill other whom she blamed for his death. people don't call their sons 'dead' because they aren't. he died, and came back to life. then he died again and came back to life again by lightning. he has died many times, and been revived somehow many times.

That's true Jason never drowned. At the same time, the really don't explain in detail what happened to Jason. You kind of had to put it together yourself. The way I took it was that in 1957, Jason was drowning while no one was paying attentioned. Somehow Jason survived(maybe his mother saved him) but everyone thought he had drowned and maybe that was because of his mother so that she can have them closed down the camp. But when that did not work, a year later she started to kill. Maybe Pamela kept Jason locked up so no one would hurt him and she went crazy. Every since then, she acted out her revenge when anyone tried to occupy Camp Crystal Lake. It looked as well that Pamela had a secret
"cabin" in the woods where she kept and protected Jason(which you see in part 2). Now watching Friday The 13th Part 1 on Blu-Ray recently, in the end when the last girl was hiding in one of the cabins, she hears a little boys voice calling for help. I like to think that Pamela had Jason help her lure out victims to kill them by calling for help. Anyways, in the other parts it is explained that Jason was there the night his mother was killed. And ever since then he kept on his revenge until he was killed in Part 4.

i know! that figure is truly incredible. i like the cloth mask more than the hockey one though...it's just more of an original idea, since the hockey mask has been used before (over and over again) That custom figure seriously blows mezco's waaaaaaaaay out of the ball park! great job!

if he's said to die, than he most likely did die. people don't kill people because they didn't kill their sons. Pamela Voorhees' son died in the lake, and came back to life when she was decapitated...that's all you're told in the movies. what you're saying could be true, but you're never told that in the films. according to the events in the movies, he died and came back.

I tend to agree on Celtic explanation here.I dont think young Jason really drowned in the lake..Somehow he survived..Saw his mother getting decapitated and got his revenge.He was a mongoloid Human for the first fourth films.
