lol thats true...but they are all great in some way or another.

but I did the same thing with the Halloween remake...I held off from buying anything until watching the movie. Im glad I did, because that movie was booooring.

Here is Jason from the upcoming film as promised...the head isn't finished.. just slapped a quick paint job on him. Once I make the mold tomorrow I will hair up the head a bit too. But he's pretty much done. I made him a sack head mask and a Hock. Everything with this guy is custom, I had to make almost everything.

And I have to fix his bad eye, make it milky and screwed up like the Mezco... I am assuming that it's like that in the film as well...

He will be in my store within the next day as well. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Yeah, I am a very iffy sculptor... the pics don't do it justice though.. I will take better shots once I white out that eye and tweak the paint. It's a very Part 3/4 ish look. The bright lights throw it off as well.

Its not a bad sculpt....but Im really only comparing it to the NECA one. But hey, who cares, the mask is what counts. And thats perfectly painted.

I only wish I could sculpt like Trevor or Andy...

Every one I do is a bit better, but it is a tough thing to do. My hat is off to anyone who can get it done, it's a rough chore. I am very happy with the mask though, I love painting Jason masks.

the 19 inch one is the best 18 inch neca has made in my opinion, even though the are all very good!!!

Yeah when I saw the pics of it I knew I had to have it. Neca has been sucking on the past few things they've done but they came through with this one. I'm very impressed with it and mine comes on thursday and I'm seeing the movie thursday night at midnight. What perfect timing is that for it to be coming?

i have already seen each movie, besides 'goes to hell' and 'jason x' and it's never really explained well. no one's born deformed to that extent. it's just not believable.

And he saw his mother get her head chopped off.....

yea, and he had already been dead in the lake for years. plus how did he grow up into a huge strong man, after being drowned as a kid? none of it makes sense. they're just all bad horror movies made for a cheap moment of fright and entertainment.

That's true Jason never drowned. At the same time, the really don't explain in detail what happened to Jason. You kind of had to put it together yourself. The way I took it was that in 1957, Jason was drowning while no one was paying attentioned. Somehow Jason survived(maybe his mother saved him) but everyone thought he had drowned and maybe that was because of his mother so that she can have them closed down the camp. But when that did not work, a year later she started to kill. Maybe Pamela kept Jason locked up so no one would hurt him and she went crazy. Every since then, she acted out her revenge when anyone tried to occupy Camp Crystal Lake. It looked as well that Pamela had a secret "cabin" in the woods where she kept and protected Jason(which you see in part 2). Now watching Friday The 13th Part 1 on Blu-Ray recently, in the end when the last girl was hiding in one of the cabins, she hears a little boys voice calling for help. I like to think that Pamela had Jason help her lure out victims to kill them by calling for help. Anyways, in the other parts it is explained that Jason was there the night his mother was killed. And ever since then he kept on his revenge until he was killed in Part 4.
