Does anyone here feel dumb and embarrassed for ordering this after bro toys announcements? Because famed YouTube streamer danoby2 says you guys are embarrassed for dropping 1500 dollars on something you wanted.

I'm never embarrassed about buying anything I want, whether it's $1500 or $15. If I want it, and I can afford it, it's nobody's business but my own. I don't care what my friends or family think, let alone random strangers on the internet.

Not gonna lie, I'm tempted with cancelling Jazz's in favor of HT's. I have both the '89 AND '95 on Pre-Order. Adding both up + shipping (it's gonna be $250+ on the '89 alone) isn't pretty. lol

Fair. lol It's weird because watching reviews of the HT '89, some shots? It's stubby. Other shots? Not bad at all.
It looks fine here.

It looks stubby in the first pic but in another vid? Looks killer.

If you have the money you would be doing yourself a huge disservice not going with the Jazzinc.

The HT is good enough if you’re broke and you absolutely must own a cheap looking black plastic stubby inaccurate 89 batmobile lol
Most awesome post of the month 👏

So this is the famous JazzInc Batmobile ..I’ve been hearing about on Youtube all week since the HT 2.0 popped up the other day

$1,500 …If you want too…by all means…but that’s just absurd for a piece

:lol Well if you’re broke you shouldn’t be pissing away $900 on HT’s cheap looking black plastic stubby inaccurate 89 Batmobile either. So I say if you’re on your way to bankruptcy, go there in style. Jazzinc all the way, baby!!

Agreed. I like Danoby, i.e enjoy his videos; however, I don't think he should be saying anything about what others choose to purchase, considering some of the items that he buys. Just saying'.

I think it’s a sterile debate.
As I already said, 99% of people won’t see the inaccuracies of the HT one. It’s a great representation of the 89 Batmobile.
I really loved and enjoyed mine. It’s a great vehicle with a lot of presence.
But as a 89 enthusiast, I really wanted to go deeper even if I’m not a rich guy. I love the company, the guy, the way he’s handling the project.
This Batmobile is my favorite vehicle from my favorite movie.
Ok, it would have been easier if Joost never made this. I would have saved money but from the day he announced it, I knew I had to have it.
After it’s always matter of timing and personal situation. I was lucky to sell my HT just before the reissue.
If not, I would had certainly kept mine.
So, no need to struggle IMO…

I’ve been a Jazz Inc admirer for awhile but not ordered anything yet. Small house.

But I got curious how his 89 Batmobile compares to the HT reissue and I see only 3 pictures on the website. No splashy prototype galleries like when The Batman batmobile went up for pre-order. Did I miss a grand unveiling on a livestream?

Are people placing orders for this just on faith, reputation and prior satisfaction? I don’t see a lot to go on for new customers.

I am going to get the Jazz Inc one, I think. I own the original HTs one and it is very impressive and not stubby at all. My plan is to sell it for just over $600 bucks to offset the JI cost.

It's interesting watching the Hot Toys vs JazzInc battle brewing in various places. Like people don't have to take sides the way they are but they're itching for a fight. As always, there's a small faction of people out there looking to unnecessarily stir the pot for various reasons, be it simple tribalism, envy, or just for kicks.

I'm not getting either, but no one should be disparaging any of you that went in for the JazzInc 1989 Batmobile. It's not the same thing. It costs more for a reason. But the Hot Toys version is great too, especially for the price.

I owned the original Hot Toys version and it's a phenomenal piece. But there was room for improvement that Hot Toys would never make.

JazzInc is poised to make those improvements with their version which has a chance at being a replica more than the big action figure accessory the Hot Toys version can felt a bit like (which is not a bad thing).

Is accuracy worth the cost? Well, that's something that's applicable to many types of collectibles and purely based on the individual. That's why some people are all in on InArt over Hot Toys and Asmus or why some of us want RS helmets and not Black Series or and many other examples.
