I have no skin in the game as it relates to the '89 Batmobile (kicking myself for not getting it pre-ordered in time). I own the 2022 Jazzinc Batmobile and the BvS "Justice Mobile" and love these vehicles (I have some minor nitpicks but there isn't anything in my statue, figure and vehicle collection that I haven't nitpicked). Over the past few months, I've seen a lot of feedback on this release (mostly positive and of course some criticisms). From all of the videos and pictures I've seen, it's an incredible re-creation in 1/6 form. Yes, twice the price of the HT version but visually, the HT doesn't even compare.

The size, scale, proportions, automobile paintjob, and overall screen accuracy makes this the best representation in any scale aside from the actual screen-used vehicle. Yes, it's an expensive endeavor, and there are going to be some minor flaws -- not perfect, but guess what -- NEITHER WAS THE ACTUAL SCREEN-USED BATMOBILE lol. A true museum piece in my humble opinion.

I recently saw the 89' Batmobile from Hot Toys at the shop, it was first time I ever seen it in the flesh. It was quite noticeable how it looked like a toy car, not very detailed at all (imo). Where as pics and comments from those who own the Jazz Inc version mention how it looks more of a museum piece compared to HT. I'm curious to see the Jazz Inc in hand, hopefully it is levels ahead in terms of that realism - fingers crossed!

Ok, the thread has been unlocked. The drama is far away now and I’m sure everyone is calm and relaxed.
Since some have maybe received their?

Finally this thread opened. I got mine a couple of weeks ago and wow this thing is amazing. Pictures do not do it justice. Even my wife saw it and said it looks like a completely different vehicle from the hot toys one.

Yay, its open.

Question, do I need to use that power converter that comes with the vehicle? I want to buy an extension cable to have it hardwired in the case.

Mine is fully paid off including the shipping. I just sold my original Hot Toys Batmobile over the weekend to a local collector to make room for the Jazz Inc. one. To say I am losing my mind with anticipation to get ahold of this baby isn't even scratching the surface. I had even at one point cancelled my order for this baby but lucked out and got on the wait list which converted almost instantly. Now, it's about to make its presence felt in my collection!

Is there a difference between the 89’ version and the one in Batman Returns? I’ve read somewhere that the later was larger but I can’t find any details.

Looks great. Happy folks are geeking out like I am with my poor man's version (HT) I just got last week.

Feels good to have this car. Feels like I unlocked a life goal or something lol

@HyperDrive I know how much you love your Game of Thrones. Get your 1/6 dragon. It'll make you happy.

And that's what it's all about.

Damn right! I’m picking Drogon up this weekend!! I know for a fact I’ll be real happy with it 😃

And yes, I likened it to how some of you guys have 1/6 large vehicles and pricey ones at that, like the JazzInc. It’ll be a first for me having something massive like this in the collection aside from the LEGO UCS Millennium Falcon.

Unlike many think, 89 and 92 are supposed to have a very similar satin/semi gloss paint job.
89 have bronze/aluminium wheels and air intake, aluminum gas caps, gunmetal turbine nose.
Returns is full black (wheels, nose, gas caps, air intakes, exhausts) and adds windshield wipers.
The Returns car is also known to be narrower for transport purposes.
