Catwoman’s “Hell Here” dio being locked behind the two-pack still hurts.

…Again, if anyone here has the two-pack preordered and doesn’t want that, I’ll gladly buy it off you. :monkey3
Still salty about this, as is my partner. We both wanted Catwoman with the Hell Here dio for our collections. But neither of us seem to be able to justify spending 2K when we both *really* only want the sultry smirk expression and the dio...

I take it you don't live together? Or do you have separate collections in separate rooms?

  1. Only have budget for one version so I'd probably prefer the Mayor look until I see the full offering.
  2. Not that it affects me but the dio only being offered in the 2-pack, just like Catwoman, would be better if it was suitable for both versions. Maybe it is actually, I don't thoroughly the movie that well.
  3. Regarding the dio itself, it looks good although would like nice to have a couple little penguins with rockets to be added for laughs. I expect this because Catwoman had little cats.
We think the sewer will work for both versions.

Yeah, it sucks. If I remember correctly it was partially done to prevent the two-pack from including two identical dioramas… but why not just drop the diorama from the battle damaged version, a look that was never associated with her apartment?

Now the deluxe clean figure, despite still including three heads, is going to look like a barebones release on a shelf, with the plain display stand she currently comes with. The diorama is so cool - I wish it could’ve just been sold separately. I hate to imagine how much that’ll be on the aftermarket.

And even if I wanted to, I can’t upgrade my preorder to the two-pack without losing the $72 deposit. It’s a drop in the bucket compared to the full price, but still hurts.

@JazzInc
Dioramas ought to be sold separately IMO.
That way folks can get the figures they want without needing to get a diorama and people can get the diorama they want without needing to get figures they dont want.
I for one, would commit to buying this catwoman if I could get the diorama as well without having to drop over a thousand pounds sterling on a double pack.
What I want is the basic Catwoman [either damaged or clean] and the diorama, I dont need 2 figures or multiple sculpts.

Separate collections, but both HUGE Burton Batman fans.

This is exactly it. The "Deluxe" doesn't FEEL deluxe and unfortunately does have that "barebones" feel. Have strongly debated the "basic" clean figure, but even that one is pricey for what it is. It doesn't help that, just when I feel like biting the bullet, Hot Toys comes along and shows a stunning, LED-lit Arnold Freeze that truly DOES pack that WOW factor, for...about the same price. I know Jazzinc can't really HELP that, being barred from selling to U.S. customers directly and all that. Buttttt...

I actually broke-down and ordered the Deluxe 2.0 '89 Batman, a figure I had cancelled-- JUST for the diorama. It was selling for north of $200 by itself on eBay. I can't even imagine how much the Hell Here piece is going to command. I just truly don't understand why SO many voted in the Facebook/forum polls to not have the option with a single figure.

It was a very good difficult decision. But there were several reasons why we chose to do it this way. First of all, many Youtubers were already complaining that there were too many SKUs, so doing the diorama as another separate piece would add more SKUs, and doing the diorama as a separate piece alone, would run the risk of not getting enough sales for the diorama alone, which would make it Impossible to make that in very low numbers, and finally, we wanted to offer something extra for the people who had the Two pack. So, either way we went, there would’ve been people who were disappointed, angry, or frustrated or all of the above, and I have found in this community. It is impossible to please everyone, even more so than in normal life, so I’m just taking the punches And rolling with them. I am quite sure that will be plenty of diorama’s sold separately on eBay for the people who want them. If I look at the sales of the basic figure, that is a small percentage, anyway
