Yes it’s not Yunsils fault at all, no doubt about it, I received the Ledger bank robber 2.0 suit her & her team did about a week or two ago. Excellent work, no issues at all. Yes it’s Nightt47s fault, but at the expense of everyone who wanted to see her attempt the Phoenix suit, she won’t do it for anyone until he surfaces, which may happen or it may be multiple years from now, who knows.
Artists can be a bit rough to communicate with, via the options available to contact them, possible language barriers, good at work, bad at the business side of things, etc. Yes it would appear they pick their favorites, but they all do that in some form or another. As long as the goods are received it’s a mute point. Yes I’m aware of Iris short comings with a select few projects. In my experience talking to her, I had no issues and was able to exchange info back and forth. I was asking her to upgrade her Ledger Joker suit with bits altered on a 2.0 to make it more accurate, to which she agreed, but wanted me to get approval from the og run organizer, I reached out to him, with no response, I guess he didn’t care to make the suit any better, who knows. I ended up having to buy her original work brand new and that was that. I don’t understand run organizers not wanting the best possible for their runs, some organizers are absolutely top tier stand up people, who go the extra mile for us, others, not so much.
I agree we don’t know InArts numbers and how their funds are allocated, but a lot of the time, companies and artists will announce something to help pay for existing expenses to complete old work. It’s business but it’s their way of being able to continue to produce without going bankrupt. The economy is **** right now so all bets are off. I very well may end up ordering the deluxe InArt Phoenix Joker set, because that seems like my only option at this rate.
